As I mentioned in Kurgan's customization\cheat thread, I'm looking into ways to get damage under control when using dismemberment. It's far too high, even when sabermorerealistic is set to 2. Set to 3, the damage is insane and setting it to 1 doesn't...  [Read More]
My luckiest move was in a power duel against a couple friends, all three using single sabers. Same map Bloodriot mentioned. The whole fight was pretty intense, so I was getting into it. Toward the end, I had five health and my force reserves were gon...  [Read More]

Ever since JO, I thought it would be a pretty cool idea to have a sequel where the main villain somehow gets inside the academy and seduces a bunch of students to the dark side right out from under Luke's nose. IMO, it would have been a perfect plot...  [Read More]

If they can get away with Jaden understanding Chewie, I don't see why they couldn't fudge a bit on the Rodian as well. :) But I can see where you're coming from....  [Read More]

Story and cutscenes, yes, but they wouldn't really have to make a whole new set of levels. They could use the same ones for either side if they had a variable to check for Light and Dark, then spawn the appropriate enemies into the level. There would...  [Read More]

Has anyone else noticed that enemies are not affected by friendly fire under normal circumstances? I charged in toward a storm trooper packing a Portable Missile System and before I could take him down, he shot me point blank with it. My flailing cor...  [Read More]

I voted for another student\master from the academy, but it was a close call between that and 'other'. I think it would have been cool to go on missions with another student. It would have been more realistic that way as well, given that one master c...  [Read More]
Originally posted by peloquin I just went into the npc files for all the reborn and cultists and increased their health points. Play arround with it yourself but at about 600 to 800 they can take about as many hits with dismemberment on as they do w...  [Read More]
Well, here's a challenge for you all. I've enabled dismemberment in SP using the desktop shortcut method and parts are flying. The problem is, they're flying a little too easily. Saber fights last seconds and boss fights aren't much longer. Is there...  [Read More]

Yes, as much copy protection as possible is a welcome thing. If I'm understanding the context of the original post, though, it's more about using the keys to ban certain unwanted guests from a multiplayer server. I never played JO online much, so cor...  [Read More]

Really, when you think about it, so what if JA is JO beefed up? JO had its fair share of problems, but it was a good game despite them. I don't think anyone here will argue that. What's wrong with a heavily modified JO with developer attention focuse...  [Read More]

I tend to agree with Prime here. I like the fact that the DF series is set in\after the original trilogy. With all the other SW games coming out that revolve around the prequels and the pre-prequel eras, it's nice to have at least one series going wi...  [Read More]

I never played SoFII, so I don't know about that, but basically if it makes sense for it to be there, blood and gore is fine. That's where things tend to go wrong, though, which is why I don't particularly care for it in most games. Usually it's ther...  [Read More]

I agree with you there. Excessive blood and gore is not my cup of tea either. There doesn't need to be any of that, however. JO didn't have it and I was more than fine with it. I don't want dismemberment for the sake of dismemberment, but because tha...  [Read More]
