Wait... The "delay" key in Radiant and in EffectsEd, is it the length of the delay, or how long the effect is repeated? (Sorry, I'm no expert at Radiant, and somewhat a newbie in EffectsEd)...  [Read More]

I know there's a "delay" key, but I didn't see a "wait" key. Oh well, would it hurt if I tried the two? I'll try the "random" key and see if it works, then I'll get back to you. Thanks. Edit: It still pauses after some...  [Read More]

Okay ermm, so I want an effect to replay in my map without stopping. I am confident it has something to do with the "delay" key, but I do not know how to make it repeat without any delay. I set the delay in EffectsEd to 0 for my EFX file, b...  [Read More]

Originally posted by Codja X To be honest, I think it would be okay. I have a ton of bevels and endcaps in the level i'm messing about with and it runs along nicely. 4 bevels and some md3's aren't going to effect it that badly. Just use the cg_draw...  [Read More]

I'm getting a bit worried about my current project. Its coming along okay, but I'm anticipating very low FPS. This map is a duel map, and the walls are pretty simple: 4 very tall (and not so wide) bevels that loom high above the players head, to end...  [Read More]

I think I better clarify a few things: actually I do not want a cliff, like I said quite a few times previously, I simply want a tall vertical stone rock that looks natural....  [Read More]

The reason why I am turning to models is because I do not have/do not know the techniques to make such a thing with brushes alone. How realistic would it look? Maybe it would look better with patch meshes, but once again, I'm not familiar with them....  [Read More]
