comi uses codec47 I believe, if you don't feel like waiting you could always look at the ScummVM source yourself :) Although the specs will be geared towards decoding not encoding. For ScummIDE/homegrown games I often wonder if a fresh v8 only code...  [Read More]

it would be nice if such a viewer allowed plugins to handle different block types so people could easily distribute/contribute code to handle say blocks for things the original program doesn't support etc so wxWindows, fltk or given up on the whole...  [Read More]

If you're after proven Grim Fandango specs you could have a look at the residual interpreter in ScummVM CVS which renders 3DOs fine and lets you play the game to a rather limited extent....  [Read More]
