I have Sam and Max and Day of the Tentacle on a LucasArts Collectors Series disc. I tried running it on both my computers and it has serious trouble.

On XP, the game runs but without any sound or music.

On ME, the sound works but it ALWAYS freezes up when I click on something.

How can I fix these problems? :(

Yeah. It doesn't seem to have anything on the freezing up problem in ME. :(

Though there will be occasional bugs in the MIDI playback, your best bet in XP or ME is to go to www.scummvm.org), download the latest Windows snapshot, and run Sam & Max through it. (just run scummvm.exe, chose "add game," and browse to wherever your Sam & Max data files are - either on the CD or wherever youve copied them to on your hard drive.

I don't suppose you could provide more detail on these supposed bugs? I'm not aware of any and if you don't point out problems to people how are things going to ever get better? :)

Maybe because the bugs are sporadic and are not worth the time to search through?

You do it, no one else probably has the time.
