Good questions! Here goes: (um, well, first off, I sure as hell ain't famous http://www.jediknight.net/mboard/wink.gif ) 1. I feel both ways, but I'm now heavily leaning towards "buy the game at ANY cost," and quite simply, it's for selfi...  [Read More]

AHA - it might be a problem that LEC released a patch for in its launcher that had a DirectX 7 crash bug... not sure if you've tried it already. Look for the TPM update at: http://support.lucasarts.com/...  [Read More]

Funniest thing? Well, it's kinda different for me, but watching someone playtest through the game once, they told the R2 unit on the Escape from Theed level to go scout ahead, and of course, it got annihilated by the droids. Then, later, when the sam...  [Read More]

I hate to say it, but I don't own PSO, and probably won't - during the brief online time I have, I play Everquest. Mind-bogglingly addictive and fun. And yes, I'll probably wind up checking out Star Wars Galaxies too when it comes out http://www.jedi...  [Read More]

Well, things are slowing down here, so I guess I'll see if anyone has any long-standing questions about TPM. I can give you a little insight as to WHY we made certain decisions. So if you have questions/comments, lemme have em, and I'm pretty thick-...  [Read More]

Modest? Moi? http://www.jediknight.net/mboard/wink.gif Well, in truth, the TPM project was code-named Zanzibar. When they asked us to come up with a code name, well, y'know, I sorta suggested it...I just liked the sound of it, I've been using Zanzib...  [Read More]

I have heard nothing of any forthcoming Indy games, but that shouldn't dissuade you from expecting there will be one, probably sooner than you think. LEC just hired a BUNCH of people, and while many of those will be for the upcoming Ep2 games, there'...  [Read More]

No, it might very well be that both stories are true. FoCom went through several iterations before Ronin finally was hired to do the job. As I recall, there were even a few calls to us here at Big Ape about the possibility of using the TPM-Zanzibar t...  [Read More]

Y'know, I haven't. When it came out, my machine at home was amazingly slow, and my work comp had no hard drive space, so even though we had a copy of it here at the office, I didn't play it. I saw it in action though, and while I didn't see a lot of...  [Read More]

There will DEFINITELY be an Ep2 game from Lucasarts, but Big Ape won't be involved. It may or may not somewhat resemble TPM. For TPM, LEC decided that the game needed to be 'friendlier' to those people who don't usually buy games. They wanted peopl...  [Read More]
