I thought they only said Chiss is Imperial-only, but Twi'lek and Rattataki are open to both factions. From the E3 Developer Blog (http://www.swtor.com/news/news-article/20100618_002) from the official SWTOR website: "The Rattataki was the first...  [Read More]

It's strange the alien species are restricted to one class. Why can't a Twi'lek be a Jedi or Sith, only a Smuggler and why is the Chiss restricted to the Imperial Agent class?...  [Read More]

I don't mind seeing planets that played a big part in the movies, as long as they make sense. Planets like Coruscant and Alderaan have remained important for millennia for various reasons, even Tatooine I can understand. But Hoth seems like the plane...  [Read More]

I find it... peculiar. I mean, I can't seem to find decent advanced classes for some of the classes (Bounty Hunter is advanced enough for me, and I don't see what a Smuggler is supposed to "advance"). And the classes for which it does seem...  [Read More]

I guess it's part of the whole MMO deal. They need to establish as large a fanbase as possible, especially if you want to compete with World of Warcraft. I guess I should vote 'no', since I'd rather be able to keep track of it all than to be overwhe...  [Read More]

I wasn't fan of the art in Threat of Peace. This is closer to the art seen in the KotOR comics (at least, the art done by Ching and Weaver), which is the style I prefer....  [Read More]

Both Jedi and Sith have always shown an interest into the past, for obviously different reasons. They keep holocrons, records, items and so on. Not that most Jedi and Sith at this point would really care, since they're fighting to survive/conquer/tri...  [Read More]

Agents are tied to the Empire, same as Bounty Hunters, just a fact of gameplay. With that in mind, Agent is definitely closest. Rogues are famous for stealth, which Bounty Hunters can't, and not for jetpacks, which BHs can. :P I'm gonna kick ass with...  [Read More]

Combat-wise, yeah, I guess so. The Bounty Hunter is more the equivalent of the Trooper in that regard. But I was aiming at their purpose, their personality. I see the Agent as having a certain amount of freedom, but having a fixed allegiance, instill...  [Read More]

Normally, I'm on the light side, but the Bounty Hunter appeals to me most. I play as a Rogue-type in most RPG's, and the Bounty Hunter to me seems closest to that, in that they're a very independent and resourceful type of people who's allegiances ar...  [Read More]

What's with the double-bladed lightsaber? It's not preferred by Consulars in every other era. I can't find any Consular who uses a double-bladed lightsaber. In KotOR, it was mostly efficient for the Guardian, so I assumed the Jedi Knight, who's suppo...  [Read More]

Disappointed by this, as well. Even though it was hard to find ideas for another two classes, I really hoped they'd find something original as opposed to another two Force-sensitive classes. This really sucks, in my opinion....  [Read More]
