Well, it seems kinda likely there would be more than just one generic Jedi/Sith class. KotOR had the different classes, and K2 with the prestige classes added on top. They need some way to make all the Jedi/Sith that will be running around at least s...  [Read More]

Jedi classes? Does he mean Jedi and Sith, or should we expect more than one Jedi class? Other than that, most was already known or didn't get an answer, but it was a nice long read....  [Read More]

MMO's are very much about tactics: you need to find the right moment to take a leak. :) About needing other players or just party members during some parts of the game: That's not clear to me as well, though I would guess they mean online players. P...  [Read More]

I found a good analysis of the video if y'all care: http://darthhater.com/2009/07/18/dissected-videodoc3/ Interesting read. Dice rolls to decide who's choice is going to be picked during dialog? I don't know, I think I'd be pissed if dialog doesn't g...  [Read More]

Yes, but guild wars had a level cap of 20, so after a short amount of time you had access to every skill available :) Once you hit 20, you still had lots of skills to unlock, some more easy to acquire than others, and in my opinion, certainly not in...  [Read More]

Yep, looks simple and design is good, not too big. Not too worried about the slots, though. In Guild Wars, you had 8, so I'm used to that. I also think it lends itself better to tactical approaches, so you think about what powers you "take with...  [Read More]

Omnibus edition? As far as I know, the KotOR comics don't have Omnibus editions, just Volumes (6 being released so far). On the comics itself: I like it. I love the characters, and it's an Era I'm very much interested in. I think a few problems peop...  [Read More]

the entire brianna storyline was deemed non canon because the exile was female for example Other sources have since confirmed Brianna traveling with the Exile as canon (the KotOR Campaign Guide, for one)....  [Read More]

it wouldn't surprise me if BW just did their own thing completely neglecting that TSL ever existed. Like has been said before, the True Sith idea comes from TSL, so we can rule out BioWare completely neglecting the game....  [Read More]

So the rebuilding of the order needs not be done by the exile's half trained jedi. The problem is, it was. At least Visas is mentioned as being vital in rebuilding the Jedi Order in a canon source (KotOR Campaign Guide). This also makes the argument...  [Read More]

No mention of the Sith civil war: Why would the Jedi keep records of events they had no part in? From a Jedi's perspective it's a bit outside their history. It would be like including the 6 day war in US history. The fact most of the remaining Jedi w...  [Read More]

The majority of the galaxy definitely didn't know exactly what was happening in KotOR II, that is right, especially not that Sith were again opposing Jedi, when it was the general consensus that both parties had disappeared. On the other hand, the E...  [Read More]

Most definitely, some gameplay footage would be kick ass, but going on the TOR forums, either here or on the official site, and saying "WE WANT GAMEPLAY" ain't gonna make BioWare release any. It'll come when it comes. Oh, don't get me wrong...  [Read More]

Well, we all know the Sith Empire will disappear eventually. How that's supposed to happen, that's very likely not something we'll see in the game itself. As Lord of Hunger said, there's the personal story that will have an end, but an overarching th...  [Read More]

They aren't better than other classes. Balance is essential to MMO's, and they won't forsake that because in almost every story, the Jedi is better than the normal soldier. But it's not so far-fetched to think of a non-Jedi to be as powerful as one....  [Read More]
