KotOR II was awesome, and I was satisfied with its ending (oh yes, I said it). Can't judge ME3's ending, but even if it is that bad, I think there are quite a few endings in gaming history that are worse. From the choices given, I picked Neverwinter...  [Read More]

I'd like to think he died during the Foundry flashpoint. It's not the death I wanted for him, but then at least I don't get to see the character being raped any further. Yeah, you can count me among the haters....  [Read More]

Yup, chose "Tarquin" as my Legacy. Was a reference to the old kings of Rome, I only later realized you could read it as "Tarkin". True story. Anyway, BioWare promised Legacy levels would get you access to new customizable options...  [Read More]

So the game is only about two months old now, but people are already starting to speculate about future content. IGN lists five planets that The Old Republic needs (http://pc.ign.com/articles/121/1218261p1.html). I always love speculating and I don'...  [Read More]

Hehe, classic Yahtzee. I actually don't entirely disagree with him on a number of issues. So yes, I'm (still) bothered by the fact TOR still looks almost exactly like the prequels. And yes, shops really don't have anything (try finding some decent ar...  [Read More]

Last question is I remember running all over Ord Mantell why does Nal Hutta have taxi service to merely cross the street? Is the Empire just too lazy to walk? The Empire has a lot more money, so they tend to spend it on taxi service. You call it lazy...  [Read More]
I'm a completionist at heart, so yes, my first playthrough usually goes quite slowly as I want to know, see and do everything the game has to offer. Like Chainz, this is quite obvious when playing a game lik TOR, where I really want to do all quests,...  [Read More]

Thanks for the ideas! You know, if it really doesn't work out, I can still respec to one of the DPS trees for the Guardian, if he's any good for that. But I just want to know how it is to play a Tank, as I've never really done it (you know, maybe I t...  [Read More]

I think it'd be useful if we could share tips on the various classes, like strategies to defeat bosses or a big mob, builds for PvE or PvP, picking the right companion and other useful things. I recently begun my first alt character, a Jedi Guardian...  [Read More]

That's the same helmet I had before the current one. Think I bought it with commendations on Hoth from memory. I think it's part of the TH-15B War Medic armour set? If not then it's a reskin of the same model at least. TH-15B Commando set, so yeah, i...  [Read More]

Especially for MMO's, I think. On the one hand, it's a kind of penalty for dying (which every MMO has one way or another) because deterioration happens faster with dying and on the other hand (I have read so at least) it stimulates the game's economy...  [Read More]

Social 1 should be about 75 pts from memory. You aren't going to ding that from any single heroic. You only get 2 pts per party member for lines you win the roll for, and 1 pt per line you don't. Even with a 4 man party, for most quests you'd be like...  [Read More]

I thought John Jackson Miller was done with the KotOR era and was doing the Knight Errant's comics (which I haven't read, to be honest). Looks like he's gone back to it. Looked at the previews and yeah, the artwork isn't the best, but I'll keep an ey...  [Read More]
