I didn't see that part in the chat transcript. I thought he said that a few things that appeared in the later movies would also appear in the game, just in the higher echelons of tech. I guess maybe A=wings or something. Dunno. I don't mind too much....  [Read More]
I loved Rebellion, but only around two years after I bought it. I bought it when it came out and I stunk at it. Stunk bad. lol. I remember getting so frustrated at the learning curve. I picked it back up two year later, learned it and loved it. I sti...  [Read More]

I've done the same for the past forever too Jan, but mainly because I hadn't wanted to offend. More often than not I just see the two who got into it, rip each other in another thread because they don't take the mod seriously. Or the person who did t...  [Read More]

There's also Interdictors, but again, what are the odds of catching something in deep space? Not that great IMO. If your last name is Solo or Skywalker the odds are about once per year according to all the books. heh...  [Read More]

Indeed. The Katana fleet. Yes, it was a deep space battle. There were a variety of other deep space battles, but the vast majority were ambushes or attacks on space stations which are comparible to planets in their prize worthiness. Space is very v...  [Read More]

If you think about it, even in EU where there are a great wealth of space battles, the deep space battles are few and far between. And the only deep space battles then are ambushes where an interdictor pulls the fleet out of hyperspace. Fighting over...  [Read More]

I'm quite glad it's the galactic civil war. It's far more developed with a WHOLE lot more depth. They have ships set out already classified and everything. They even have descriptive events in the EU books that show space battles, etc in great detail...  [Read More]

I say heck yes to unlimited troops, as long as you have an economy to support them. I mean if you had a surplus of materials, you could overbuild and still have enough resources to maintain your army for a few months while you wage a particularly hea...  [Read More]

lol, SWG... hmmm...well...I definitely agree with you guys. Having Jedi as trainable units was just odd anyway, I'd rather them not play a MAJOR MAJOR role. In fact I'd rather see as few as possible...and those only as hero units. A Darth Vader here...  [Read More]

*shrug* Not necessarily a manufacturing limit. I figure if you end up building a death star it's going to basically cripple your economy with cost. It'll tie down so much resources that it can be somewhat unfavorable to build one...and the build time...  [Read More]
