Thanks. I am planning on doing some more MI2 stuff in the future. In the past, I used soundfonts that I put together myself, but I'm currently in the process of collecting very large and very expensive gigasamples to use instead. I think it will be a...  [Read More]

Thanks for the kind words, guys! As for the similarities, I actually couldn't say. I've never seen Edward Sissorhands or heard the score, but I admit there is probably a bit of an Elfman-esque quality to it. Personally, I think it's more of a Carter...  [Read More]

There was never an orchestral soundtrack released for The Goonies. However, there was a "Best of Adventure" CD released in Germany a while ago that had a number of Goonies orchestral pieces. That jailbreak piece you were talking about is...  [Read More]

I wrote a graphic adventure game design once for SCRAMM. It was based on the old Disney's Duck Tales cartoon show, although it was a bit more mature. Not bloody or obscene, but it had a more serious story line. Kind of a silly idea, but I was really...  [Read More]

Sam and Max isn't really much to judge by... it's the absolute worst game when it comes to sound problems. If you have Day of the Tentacle, I suggest trying that under Windows 2000, and give it a try in SCUMMVm. If it works for you, then Fate of Atla...  [Read More]

You'd be able to play it, I'm certain. Playing it with music and sound... that's another story. Windows 2000 and XP tend to make the MIDI sound a little weird... at least it does on my machine. I have yet to get digital audio to work, but I haven't s...  [Read More]
