Well, I guess you could try the "load up a lot of things in the background" approach, but that's a little iffy. As for save games, well, I would gladly donate mine, if I could actually get Grim running in 2000....  [Read More]

You don't need a save game. You should have read the "Read this First" thread, which will tell you to download the patch: ftp://ftp.lucasarts.com/patches/pc/Gfupd101.exe That should solve your problems....  [Read More]

May I recommend Pleughburgh: Dark Ages (http://gaspop.com/index.html?darkages). It's an amateur game, but it's pretty damn detectivy (You play a detective), rather difficult, and with multiple endings. Free, too....  [Read More]

It's definitely legal to rip songs from the CD - You purchased the CD, and that means you own it and any information that happens to be on there is yours. As long as you don't distribut the CD, then you can still go to heaven. Besides, sites on the...  [Read More]

Well, recently, Gabez posted a scan on The Scumm Bar (http://www.scummbar.com) which involved EXTREMELY JUICY DETAILS on the upcoming Grim Fandango 2. The details being that it is a possibility, but it's completely and totally, utterly and certainly...  [Read More]

I don't specifically know which part you are talking about, but if it is the part where you first meet and converse with that delightful demon Glottis, then might I add that my game used to freeze up at that point too. The patch didn't help either,...  [Read More]

The people who bid on eBay generally don't have any idea of value anyway. Quite often, you can buy things (that are in stock) quite a bit cheaper on Amazon or Play. Fools. I hope Purcell sticks out a re-release, because I want to read these things....  [Read More]

If it's anything like Conker's Bad Fur Day, which I predict it will be, then I'll be happy. Hopefully it'll have a nice (18) sticker on the front of it, and not be cutened up for the TV audience. I want to see puppies drowning and the homeless being...  [Read More]
