I noticed that the forums don't have many Sam and Max avatars. Well I made some and was wondering if someone would want to look at them and maybe put them up for choices.

I agree that sam n max are greatly underused, especially considering they're always in so many top class situations. Bless em.

But isn't it quite hard to get hold on any of the comics? or is that just in mangey old england where any humour without monty python is outlawed

As far as I know, it's pretty hard to get Sam & Max comics in the U.S. Don't quote me on that though, it's just that I've never seen any.

It is very hard to get Sam and Max comics, not extremely hard to get vidoes though.

i bought my sam n max anthology from amazon.co.uk exactly a week before it went out of print. It makes me feel weak at the knees just thinking about it

Wow. I did the same thing with my Grim soundtrack. But any way, what about the avatars? I understand if you don't want to.

I think that damn anthology contains all the comics, and I probably tried to buy it exactly a week after it went out of print. It's on my 'to look for' list whenever I enter a bookstore, although I know that when I finally do encouter it I'll have no cash, no cards and I'll be in some obscure place that would be almost impossible to return to.

we're always looking for new content, feel free to send me (or any other LF mod/admin) the link to your pics and we can take a look at them.

But remember that taking a look doesn't necessarily mean we'll post them up :)

The problem with scanning small pictures means that they get quite grainy, which is unpleasant to look at and probably wouldn't be used.

However, i do like the 5th, 11th, and 12th ones. They're good quality and have nice colouring.

There's plenty of default Max avatars. Sam's the one who we're lacking in.

How come you don't really update the avatars very often?

Because people are supposed to be original and make their own. I think there's more than enough default avatars already. :)

I found this nifty rabbit avatar when Lucasforums (http://www.airporttravel.com/japanese/image/disneyland.jpg) went VBB. I'm not sure who this *max (http://www.fadden.com/bunny/cube/bunny-cute.jpg)*) character is, but I'd like to sue him for using my face (http://www.berghuis.co.nz/abiator/weird/ears.jpg) in his comic books...

i always wanted do have a max avatar.. but i was not allowed to. i have to use this avatary thingsy i do use.. the voices in my head told me so. also dag told me that he "spoot will crack the fishNchipsy off my spooty if i do otherwise, spoot". norb just stares at me all the time so that i am always pretty nervous while i'm posting at the LFs.. :)

On the subject of avatars, I love making them, so if anyone wants an avatar to be spiffed up, please ask, just supply me with the images. With school, started and whatnot, it's hard to find time to go on image hunts. :jawa
