First try checking if there's a placeable in your way, if there isn't than it's a walkmesh problem and I don't think we can edit/create those yet....  [Read More]

The Exile probably had more than one master. Probably a minimum of 3, Kavar, Kreia, and someone else. Most of the masters on the Council seem like they could have taught the Exile at one point....  [Read More]

Obsidian had intended to have a romance in TSL or is it just a coincidence that this this song has that name? Has it ever been used in the game? It sounds like an introduction to a character song or something of the like but I have never heard it pla...  [Read More]

I believe that's for resource file names. It's due to the KEY file (http://torlack.com/index.html?topics=nwndata_key) resource data structure. The name of the resource is represented by a 16 character string....  [Read More]

Realise that KotOR Tool has taken Fred Tetra hundreds of hours to put in it's current state. The website says 1100. I'd love to have KT working for Linux, as besides some games and photoshop of course I run Ubuntu-only now. Perhaps it would motivat...  [Read More]

I doubt it will work, even the Linux version of .NET probably wouldn't support KT, as I think that only 'System' namespaces are supported with it, and KT uses a the 'Microsoft.Win32' namespace to locate the KotOR directories via the registry. I'll tr...  [Read More]

Check this article. (http://www.devchannel.org/devtoolschannel/04/04/16/1755236.shtml) However, if Fred Tetra has no objections, I may be able to write some of the resource extraction/editing parts of KT in C++/Qt and release it for Linux/Mac/Unix....  [Read More]

Just edit the texture and it will automatically show up on the armor model. And no, it doesn't have the fabric, as long as by 'fabric' you mean Calo's clothes that he wears over the armor (blue coat, ect.)....  [Read More]

*.mdl files don't contain the skin itself, you'll need to find Calo Nord's *.tpc file and extract it as a Targa file (which KT does automatically). Check this for more info (http://lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=126482) as to what file it is....  [Read More]
Yes, you'll just need to convert the local sub-strings of the GFF files. You can use tk102's DLG Language Converter, it won't convert the contents of the dialog, however you'll be able to read the Polish it's written in. You can get it from the Star...  [Read More]
