Andros cocked his eye at Komad. Most would actually be abhorred that he had spoken to a master with such disrespect but he was actually amused that Komad was brave enough to be that indignant. He replied, "I remember more than you think Young Komad. I just choose not to on some things. I speak from experience that needless rushing gets you nowhere whereas patience reaps the reward." If that wasn't enough, Andros then added, "Besides we have a few hours before us. It will be awhile."

Alkйa listened to Andros speak and was surprised that he didn't lashe out at Komad. Listening, she thought she detected a faint mockery in his voice but it was overshadowed by humor. She spoke aloud while keeping her eyes on the traffic, "Perhaps Master Starlighter does know. He had three children and he knew when Ben Skywalker was born."

"I'm sorry Master. I'm also worried if their might be complications from because of how different our species are. There wasn't any when I was born, but humans and Twi'leks are pretty similar." Komad commented.

"Understandable but I sense that things are going well. I am surprised that her padawan is so level headed. It has been a while since I met such level headedness," Andros replied with a smile.

Greea gripped Quinlan's shoulder as he guided her to the healers. Komad would return soon and he was bringing an old friend. She sighed as she followed her padawan.

(I did, but he hasn't been on in quite a while. If he doesn't respond by Friday, I'll give control of his characters to you.)

"Well, he has a good teacher. Keep in mind, my wife's midi-chlorian count is second only to that of Anakin Skywalker." Komad replied.
Jack, have you dealt with the crew yet? We need confirmation so we can take the bridge and finish this. Hethra sent to his nephew.

"To bad she isn't Avalonian," Andros muttered in a joke to his children. It was the first in a long time.

Tulre responded, "If she were, then she would bear this out like a Haida woman."

Andros smiled at his offspring and said, "My sister and brothers will be arriving soon and Andromeda is on her way from Avalon. They can help us as well."

"Your family has alaways known when to answer the call though some are more stubborn than others," Malek added. He knew that the Starlighter family would answer the call to aid however Andros was the reluctant one. He was more like his mother in that respect since she hated to go to war. As for the boy's father, he was a Jedi from Coruscant, of course war was rather an avoidance if possible. The younger siblings had less inhibitions about it but Malek attributed it to the fact that they had been raised by their own people. Andros wasn't. Perhaps it was for the best.

That was interrupted when Andros asked Komad, "Young Komad, if I may perhaps be there when the little one arrives?"

Quinlan was anxious about his master but he keep his head level. He ignored the gripping pain in his shoulder as he guided her to the healer's wing of the temple. He came across Reyvan who was wandering the halls and asked for help, "Jedi Reyvan, can you help me?"

Not saying a word, Reyvan placed his shoulder under Greea's other arm and helped her into the lift. Once in the lift she let out with a touch of pain, "She likes you. She is just unsure as how to go about it."

Reyvan colored at what Greea was saying. He did have feelings for Alkйa and he was never sure at how she felt about him. She always hid it. He said nothing as the turbolift carried them to the floor.

"Of course, though given the circumstances, it's not like I have a choice. As my father says, even though he is the one who destroyed HK-47, it was your wisdom that brought the Republic out of the Great Droid War victorious, and although I was born two years after they ended, I believe him." Komad replied.

"Village stories I would say," Andros replied softly, "Wars make not one great."

Alkea made it back to the temple in good time. The twins went with Malek to the meditation wing with the comment that they would wait there. Andros led the way with full strides up to the medical wing even though he hadn't set foot in the temple for over twenty years. He asked, "Young Komad, tell me: What has happened in the last few years. The shadows have always been swirling but only until recently they have started amassing. I suspect it has something to do with your capture and torture."

"Very well. You could say it began four years ago, when the Sith first took me hostage and tried to turn me to the Dark Side. Needless to say, they failed, I soon escaped, and actually met Greea. That same year, my sister first went on her three year self-exile. Two years later, my former master, Kalla Vel, sacrificed herself to allow Greea and I to liberate Malastare. A year after that, I came face to face with Dar Bodonawieedo, Dark Lord of the Sith, and my brother-in-law. I failed to redeem him, but he was captured a few weeks later. Six months after that, I was asked to lead a contingent of troops to infiltrate and sabotage a Sith Listening Post on Dantooine. Before I left, my wife tried to tell me she was pregnant, but I told her it would have to wait until I got back. Unfortunately, the mission failed, and I was captured and tortured for six months. After my escape, I found out about my wife's pregnancy, and I failed to save the Chief of State's life, which leads me to today." Komad replied.

"I think you mean that Malek wanted to make you stronger to face the torture you would later face," Andros thoughtfully tried to explain Malek's actions, "He always was the unconventional one." Andros then looked upward suddenly as the turbolift continued its ascent. He continued to stare at the ceiling for a awhile until he spoke while gazing upward, "Stubborness, tenacity, good qualities. Yes, good intentions and hidden strengths."

"It's possible, though I don't know of anyone who see that far into the future with such certainty. Mortis is also the only Sith whom Tyrannus did not have any real contact with. It would have been impossible for him to know about her vendetta against me." Komad replied.
"I've got a plan to deal with the crew. We fake the self destruct sequence. Naturally, the crew will follow standard procedure and make for the escape pods. You've will have to clear out the bridge first, though." Blade said on the commlink. "We're in the security control room now, so don't worry about them calling for reinforcements; and signal will just come back to us."

"Malek had and still does have his contacts within the Sith ranks." Andros gazed at Komad, surprised that he did not catch on to the fact that he was speaking of the child being born with his ramblings. He continued, "Much like my mother did. She infiltrated and in the end, when she saw my father die, she made it possible for me to pick up the pieces and help the Rebellion."

The twins and Malek managed to find the meditation room. They sat on different seats. Malek wasn't going to meditate but rather watch the twins. He had heard much of their abilities and especially when they and their parents confused the healers during the killik affairs. It would be an interesting thing to watch.

Greea was ready to throw something at the healers as the pain came in waves but she was willing to be patient about it. If there were such a thing. Her apprentice Quinlan went to see about Komad and Reyvan took a seat next to her and waited with her. When the contraction passed, she began a conversation with Reyvan, "Have you spoken to her yet?"
"Every time I try, she pulls away," Reyvan replied knowing full well who she was talking about, "I know what happened the first time she gave her heart. I am willing to wait for her."
"That is why she like you and I suspect she does love you," Greea replied knowingly.
"Somehow I can't help but feel that maybe she doesn't," Reyvan replied, "Not yet at least."
"She knows her own feelings. She just has to trust herself," and Greea gritted her teeth as another contraction came.
Reyvan held her hand, ignoring what she was going to do to it. He made up his mind to see Alkйa when she came in. His thoughts were interrupted when Greea said, "Ah so he has returned."

Andros saw that Komad wasn't really listening. He knew that feeling all too well when the twins were born and when their sister was born. He continued on a rambling history, using his soft voice to calm Komad down. He continued, "My mother was a Jedi, a master during the last days of the Old Republic with my father. During the Clone Wars, she was called the Light of Courage. She understood war and the sacrifices involved. The old masters always said she had one foot in the Republic and one foot in Avalon."

Darth Caos turned around once he heard Alkonium and Hethra walk onto the bridge however the crew took no notice whatever, they merely continoued there work without pause. Caos however smiled at the site of the Jedi, "Jedi Masters Alkonium Komad and Hethra Iazoki. What do I owe this unexpected," Caos paused whilst he thought of the best word to use to finish his sentance "Visit? You're attempting to destroy our wondefall new spacestation are you? "Mortis is busy with new investors to our cause," Caos replied activating his own lightsaber. "Mortis is allready well aware of your pressence here and what you plan to do. And I'm not here to stop, I'm just here to kill you cause it'll be fun. The Death Star has allready served it's peropus and any damage it does now is an added bonus. That's why it's being redirected to Coruscant." Caos mocked as he stepped back to allow the Jedi to view the Death Star enter hyperspace with a small fleet of Sith Star Destroyers. "You jedi have no idea what you've gotten yourselfs into. A plot is begining to unfold, a plot has been organised since the first Galactic Empires destruction and let me tell you, it's going to shake the root's of the entire galaxy."

Andros was surprised at how far one's view could spread into an untruth. He knew why Almalexia did what she did. It wasn't for the power but similar to what his mother did. She did it for those she loved and she never lost herself. He couldn't help but wonder if his mother's spirit had been within Almalexia. He knew that he would have to have a talk with Hethra when he returned. It was time to learn the truth. Saying nothing, he replied instead, "I never knew my mother. Only what my father told me of her after he died and from what I could find in the archives."

The door to the lift opened revealing a gentle atmosphere that helped in the healing process. He then said, "Ah we have arrived," and led the way through the corridors. For one past his prime, he was still spry. Like when Hethra first met him, he looked like he was forty. He took strong strides to get to where Greea was holding a conversation with Reyvan. He looked at Greea, recalling his time spent with Jayden at the academy on Yavin IV. He smiled at her and said to no one in particular, "The Force has a strange way of grabbing one's attention."

Relieved that Komad was there, Greea allowed him to hold her hand but she addressed Andros, "The Force was was always calling you."
"True and I chose to ignore it until such a time when life begins anew," Andros replied in the manner of Avalonians. "Still though it calls to some and they fight along the way. Perhaps it would be wise to push them along and have patience." The last comment was intended for Reyvan who didn't understand but made ready to leave. As he passed by the great Jedi Master, Andros whispered that Alkйa was in the meditation room.
Greea didn't miss a thing as she watched Andros. She had read about him especially his time spent with Jayden Korr. She heard of what happened to his wife and his outlook on life. Knowing this she asked Komad, "Could you wait outside darling?"

Master Starlighter knows a bit more about babies than you do darling, Greea projected to Komad. She turned to Andros who stood meek as a kataran beast but a glint of amusement flashed in his eyes as if he knew what she was thinking. They waited until the door closed.

Alkea was staring out the window outside the meditation room. She found that the constant stream of speeders and air traffic was soothing. Always flowing with no interruptions. She suddenly wished that her former master were there but she forced calming thoughts to flow through her mind. It came to a halt when she sensed Reyvan making his way towards her. She didn't know what to do and was struggling to say something when he said, "They said I might find you here."
A comfortable subject so she replied, "I needed to think a bit. Master Hethra will be calling for the fleet soon."
"That sounds good. For the Republic I mean. You are after all the best," Reyvan replied nearly blushing. Greea had said to take his time and to be patient so he was trying.
"You aren't so bad yourself," came the reply.
Reyvan smiled a bit like a schoolboy. He then said, "The Jedi Master that arrived. He is awe inspiring isn't he?"
"One of the best. My master knew him well," Alkea began. She then embarked on a history of the great Andros Starlighter and his exploits, well the more famous ones. They stood their talking for a long time.

Caos deactivated this lightsaber and jumped back. Gripping each end of the lightsaber, with the combined power of the force and his muscles, he twisted his lightsabers to the point of it snapping in peaces. "Well after what happened I vowed to never trust my heart with anyone. I even pushed away my own brother," Alkea was saying.
"You didn't want to be hurt again," Reyvan replied thoughtfully.
"I guess but I did learn a few things from Greea. She was right. I can't shut the galaxy out forever but there are some things that I can't allow for my emotions to surface."
"Like heading the fleet." Reyvan spoke that so softly that you would have to be standing next to him to be heard.
"Yes but it doesn't mean that I am heartless, or anyone else for that matter," Alkea explained, "We just have our duty and sometimes it has to outweigh what is in our hearts."
"Not always."
Alkea was interrupted from answering when the twins emerged followed by Malek. She looked at the one who trained her on Dagobah and he acknowledged her with a slight nod. It was Jun-la who spoke, "We should start heading towards the medical wing. Father wants to show us something." She led the way down the hall with Reyvan and Alkea in the back.
Not wanting to end the conversation just yet, Reyvan gently grabbed Alkea by the arm and kissed her on the cheek gently. He said softly, "Duty is to the heart," and he broke off following the party down the hall. It was a good thing he did for he was blushing a shade of red but he didn't see Alkea's own face.

"Did it ever occur to you this may go deeper than Mortis?" Caos asked before giving a quick display of power as he sent a blast of force lighting into the air "The Jedi are a dying race. Though you're numbers currently are rising, they'd never match the ones in the times of the old Republic. And now you're dealing with a new breed of sith, one that concerns itself with destruction than control. And things are about to become deadly than you realise, and it's all thanks to you. Caos is the trandosian word for Chaos, and in life chaos is goal. But do you know where I specialise in most of all? Mind manipulation, it's strange how the greatest of Jedi minds are easily manipulated by a simple tragidy."

Alkonium caught some of the lightning, and launched it back at Caos. "How long do you think it will be before this Sith Empire destroys itself? And don't talk to me about tragedy. I've lost my parents, my right hand, my wife, I was stranded on Tatooine for seven years, and my son was taken from me for six months by your Master. I think I know a good deal more about tragedy than you do." He retorted.

((steven: you are addressing Alkonium, not Komad. Komad is on Coruscant with his wife and new baby))

Andros handed a bundle to Komad after summoning him in. The birth had been rather quick despite it being Greea's first. As always, his heart warmed towards the tiny fragile lives that were born and he witnessed. Call it love if you like. It was the kind that spilled over to children not his own. He stood quietly in the corner while everyone got to take a look. His attention was drawn to the stars beyond the atmosphere.

Star gazing was a gift of his people. Few could read them as well as he did but he was drawn particularly to Hethra and Alkonium. They were fighting yes. The one they were against, he recognized well. The manipulation. It was like a series of ripples within the Force. Concentrating, he projected his thoughts to Hethra, Don't rise to the bait old friend. Like all who lust after power for selfish means, he will fall. By the Force's will he will fall.
To Alkonium he sent a blend of emotions, the happiness that came with new life. he hoped that it would be a hint that he was now a grandfather. Raw emotions were difficult to interprete since passion could be directed at a thousand and one different things. He saw it once or twice when he learned from the last of the elite group that his mother commanded.

Komad walked over to his wife, carrying his newborn daughter in his arms. "I had an idea on what to name her, but I'd like to talk to you about it." He said to Greea.
"My nephew's been dead for a while, hasn't he? There's no way he would join either side that easily." Hethra responded. "You can control as much as you want when you have an illusion to work with, but without it, you're powerless." He then Force Pushed Caos into a bulkhead.

Joe had been away for a very long time. He had been chased by people who have wanted to kill him for things he had done. He knew they wouldn't enter the temple but he could. He was running down an alleyway from a mad father of someome he had killed. He was puffing and panting breathlessly and he glanced at a window looking into the temple ahead of him. He jumped in smahsed trhough the window covered in cut glass and scars.

"It all makes sense now. He only contacted me, because you couldn't spread the illusion to anyone else. But that would mean that you betrayed Mortis by helping Komad and Solidus escape, unless in truth you did nothing and they escaped on their own." Hethra responded, now seeing through the lies.

"Uh where's the jedi when you need em?" He looked around him and the whole room was empty. It seemed no one was coming even though the alert system rang out through the temple.

"Not dead," Caos confirmed "Just missing. He's out there somewhere but we can't find him. Personally I have no idea how the two Jedi escaped the Death Star, they were helped by someone, still trying to find out who though. And before you think I'm just a simple illusianist, then you are far from wrong." Coas then gritted his teeth as he pulled a layer of metal from the bulkhead and sent it flying towards the two Jedi. It was this point he began to absorb the dark energy in the ship and it's surrondings. As the rage of dark force power began to build up in his body, the eyes glowed a blood red and began to chant the words "I am Chaos! I reigned across the Republic! Using my power of illusions, I freed the true Dark Lord from his prison! I removed the leader of his opposition! I have brought chaos to this galaxy and I may now become one with the dark side of the force."

After repeating that sentance a couple of times, he gave the jedi's a wicked smile. "But before I have to delay a simple message to one Komad Kaltas," Caos said, using the force he had gathered from a moment ago, he sent a message across the galaxy to Komad, "Komad, she's awaiting you're pressence aboard the Death Star, she says if your not there fast enough, then goodbye Coruscant. Personally I hope you're alittle late but that's just me. If you ask me Coruscant deserves nothing but destruction."

Komad immediately got the message sent from Caos. "I have to go to the Death Star. It's personal, and if I don't, all of us will die." He said out loud. "Kalla, your daddy's going away, but he'll be back soon." He said to his daughter, and left for the hangar.

Joe wkaing up after only a mere fifteen minutes had full strenght back. He then went into the main hall of the temple and called out aloud.

"Is anyone here?" his voice echoing around the temple.
A small man poked his head out from behind the door with a dumbstruck face upon him.

"Who may you be looking for?" he asked in an upputy voice.
"I don't know many Jedi, well only one his name is Hiffra or something, oh yes and Komad."

"They are on very important missions" the man replied. "If you must find them I think they might be heading for the Death Star, they always seem to follow trouble and that's where most of it is,I don't know who'll be there, but I'd advise you to stay out, for your own good."

"No" Joe replied looking in a different direction. "I like to follow trouble too" he laughed. He ran out of the Temple and randomnly grabbed a Speeder to fly to the nearets Star Port to hijack a ship to get to this death star.

"Not alone you will not," Andros blurted out. Since it he had been so quiet, both seemed to forget that he was there. He took a step towards Komad and placed a finger gently on little Kalla's cheek. He repeated, "You will not go alone. It is her intention to see you destroyed if you go. A Jedi's life may be sacrifice but never in vain."
At that moment, the twins appeared followed by Alkea and Reyvan who were standing silent but sharing a secret understanding. Malek was behind the group and he stood as silent as Andros. It was Jun-la who spoke, "What will you have us do Father?"
Andros glanced at his children. He knew his brothers and sister were coming. They had the key to a secret weapon and he needed enough time for them to get as close as they could. He then turned his gaze to Komad o wait and see if the youth would be as brash as he was when he was younger. He asked, "Will you go alone or will you stand with us side by side?"

"Acting Chief of State, we need you to call the fleet back to Coruscant immediately. The War will end there, and whether or not you summon the fleet will determine who wins it." "Afraid I can't allow that," Caos voice called through the force as the Sith fleet entered hyperspace "You see you're not the only one I tricked. Before his death, I tricked him into giving the Republic fleet orders to stand in the void around Aldeeran space in case you're plan didn't work. Now my fleet has left to destroy them, or at least just keep them busy with the gravity wells each Star Destroyer is fitted with. I'm afraid you and the civilian fleet of Coruscant is all that can save the center of the galaxy. However you should know that there is one way to destroy it from the inside. "Alone young one, you will only get yourself killed." Andros again reiterated somewhat pleased that Komad wasn't going to go halfcocked. "Besides, Mortis is not alone in this."

"Then I will have the fleet ready to move. We have a few ships to spare," Alkea said and turned to leave dragging Reyvan with her.

Andros said nothing but continued to search Komad's face with his green eyes as if looking for something and thought to himself,You don't know who it is behind Mortis young one. Few have and I only hope that Hethra will not be broken twice.

((I am going out on a limb here regarding Hethra and a certain someone from another fic. It was an idea that occurred that could have happened during the Great Droid War sequence))

Joe sped trhough the city of Coruscant at a fast pace. He twistedi n and out of other speeders and transport until he came to the nearest starport.

"I'm getting in trouble again" he laughed to himself. "But it's for good this time." He ran around aimlessly looking for some empty ship and then he found his solution.

He felt sorry for the owner of this ship. He smashed it and another alert syystem went off but he just got in and was already travelling through the galaxy.

"Very well, stay close, and don't do anything foolish." Komad replied, getting into his X-38.
The Eclipse III came out of hyperspace near Coruscant. "I hope this works." Alkonium said to Hethra as he aimed the ship at the Death Star's superlaser, and put the ship into ramming speed. "We should get back to the stealth ship and board the station. Your son will need our help." Hethra said to him. "I agree, let's go."
They made to the hangar, and noticed that they were short one Commando. "Where is Demo?" Alkonium immediately inquired. "He said he would remain behind to trigger the self-destruct." Blade replied. "Then may the Force be with him." Alkonium responded.

Andros followed Komad to the hangar bay. He saw an old friend, an Avalonian fighter and headed towards it while Alkea and Reyvan boarded one of the starships that would be accompanying them. The twins sought out X-38 and boarded. They may be out of practice but flying is like an old friend. Andros settled into the fighter and felt the ship come alive. He contacted through the comm, "Systems are go. Komad, perhaps just you and me shall go first. The rest can pick up Hethra and Alkonium. Is that all right?"

"Yes. They'd be less likely to detect us that way." Komad replied.
Alkonium and Hethra watched as the Eclipse III crashed into the Death Star and went straight through until the superlaser was destroyed.
"My lady, it appears that someone has hijacked our Super Star Destroyer and rammed it into the Station. It's left the superlaser damaged beyond use." A Sith Officer informed Mortis. However, troop garrisons are ready for landing procedures."

Andros merely nodded at the response and let the ship come alive in his hands. He guided it out of the bay and was followed by Komad as they set out towards to met Mortis.

Alkйa sent her orders with the few ships she figured she would require and set out after them. It was a childish thing but she sent, Master Hethra, we are coming.

"It is pointless," Mortis replied "We always thought an incident like this was happen so we became up with a backup plan. We are close enough to Coruscant for it to be effected if we activate the self destruction." Mortis paused before looking at the office "Activate them now and set the timer to ten minutes. Once it goes off, this Spaceship will disintegrated in the explosion, taking half of Coruscant hit it. The other half will merely crumbled away

As Joe zoomed on further towards the Death Star he saw a large ship crash into it.

"My gosh!" He said loudly in his starfighter. "That was pointless then" he sighed. "Maybe I should find thse Jed-eye people. I could help them." He turned his ship around and flew back to the starport.

"If we do that, we will not have time to escape its destruction. And the Sith Empire will tear itself apart without your leadership." The Sith Officer replied.
Komad and Andros arrived at the Death Star hangar, and already began to notice the effects of the large Star Destroyer lodged in the Station's side. "We're not as alone in this as we thought." Komad said out loud.

Joe looks behind him and see ships enter the Hangar of the Death Star.

"What! This is pathetic!" he shouted loudly. He swung his ship round with anger and he spent another long time travelling to the Death Star's hangar.

"I'm not turning back this time" he breathed to himself stressfully. Finnaly he landed. What a site of the devastation of the ship colliding into it! What a mess!
