Just model it all the same, but have each hair style as a separate grouping, then, when the skinner goes to do the model and sets up the skin file, they would link it to the nodraw shader....  [Read More]

Yeah, thats where I changed the colors from. I thought that his upper clothing was a bit earthy, couldn't tell from all the pictures. But I did turn the saturation on the cape lining down a bit. I'll adjust it so it is less similar....  [Read More]

The 'shine' or overall brightness in the pics is because I turned the ambient lighting up to about 50%. That and the lights I have on are washing out some of the picture. I'll try to fix this. I'll maybe even post a pic of the flat. Alaris- Yeah, I...  [Read More]

Alaris- I put a shader on the boots. It is a very toned down env map. There is also a bit of this on the belt area, but in considerable less quantity. Yes, the hands are pretty bad, I haven't done much on them till that point. Only put in the basic...  [Read More]

Very small brush size, with a low opacity. Start with fairly short dark strokes and work my way up to longer lighter strands. Follow the flow of natural hair, and with some luck, a drop shadow and a lot of time, you'll have a descent head of hair....  [Read More]

It isn't eye shadow. It is the drain on his eyes from years of exposure and training in the dark side of the force. Look at the reference pics of Dooku as well as for Palpatine, you'll see what I mean....  [Read More]

That was part of the question. It was my understanding that his cape lining is sort of a dark red velvety material. In that pic the belt piece appears to be the same tone as the cape liner. Either they are the same toned material or that person used...  [Read More]
