Ok, good news. I figured out what the problem was. When I was separating the model into separate objects to unwrap, there was one object (part of the left side of her foot) that was causing the error. So I deleted that, and I can now go back and star...  [Read More]

What other programs, other than Max5, can open/load a .max file from 3ds max4? That's where my problem is. I already had one of my buds that has v5 load it up, ,and they were also not able to export it as a .3ds or any other format without it crashin...  [Read More]

Actually, just do the same effect that the other droids have with the specularity map. And to get lights and stuff to glow- Make a new layer in Photoshop (If you are using it) Draw in the glow that you want. Save that as a new image and then resize...  [Read More]
