There actually is such a mission. It was released on a promotional cd (which contained a few other goodies) along with a miniture strat guide (also promotional) put out by Prima. My wife saw them distributing it at an anime convention and picked up o...  [Read More]

Nah, converting works fine. However, you must make sure that you not only get rid of (or convert) all of their units, but also all of their buildings (though I don't think this includes turrets and power cores). Once you've eliminated all units and b...  [Read More]

Not sure how many there are actually; I don't remember seeing a lot of them overall. There are 2 though in the Confed's last mission (on Sarapin as well). Kryllith...  [Read More]

Holocrons play a very important part in one of the Leia campaigns (you have to collect them all to win it). They aren't considered holocrons in the scenario, but they do work the same way (ie, they give you nova while you have them). A single "h...  [Read More]

Well if you want to take advantage of some of the republics perks, consider that stealthed Jedi Starfighters make excellent spies (especially with sight beyond sight). Put them in no-attack mode and hide them around your enemy's base. Of course it's...  [Read More]

The latter. It's helpful if you want to conserve troops, especially if your troops get wounded. I find it helpful to carry a few ground troops to take out any forces that get inside the mech's range or bring some anti-air troops to jump out when figh...  [Read More]

Yeah, I've noticed problems like this as well. In the Spinnaker scenario of the TF campaign, for example, there seemed to be no offense coming out of Spinnaker aside from the initial rush. They just weren't producing any units to attack me or to defe...  [Read More]
I'd give a go ahead on the gunship if it's balanced out as discussed in the earlier thread (ie no shields but armourable, low carrying capacity, slower than fighter, decent hps, decent ground attack but little or no AA, etc). The whole upper end vers...  [Read More]

Ummm, ow. You built this all near the beginning or throughout the map? I think I only had 2 or 3 fortresses, maybe 8-10 laser turrets, and 1 AA turret (if I built one at all) throughout the entire map. Kryllith...  [Read More]

After I wiped out Base One, I build a wall and gate on the western side of the first bridge and stuck a few turrets there and a shield generator. Then I tossed in a couple AA's to keep the fighters off of them. After that I took a few Air Cruisers (t...  [Read More]
Depends on what you mean by advance fast. You can royally screw yourself over if you advance too fast and don't have the workers to keep your economy flowing. No point in jumping straight to tech II or III if you can't generate the resources to take...  [Read More]

I don't really have a favorite. I love destroyer droids, even before the game ever came out, so I'd chalk TF up there just because of them. I also love the Gungan healing abilities and mobile shields. I'd probably rank these the highest amoung those...  [Read More]

Problem is that cannons have better range than air cruisers. When the Air cruisers come out to take out the cannons, the AA turrets lose some of their ability to defend them; that's when the fighers; AA units come into play. Kryllith...  [Read More]
