I use those models to make my skins for my vehicles (I give proper credit, don't worry), but to try and convert those to usable models for a game, there's just no way. In most cases you need to get rid of about 90 % of the poly's, sometimes more....  [Read More]

keep in mind that only ships with lockable missiles can lock on. TH Z-95 cannot lock on! It's hard to lock on if a ship is moving fast unless your chasing right behind em. Also, the further away the enemy is, the harder it is to see the red circle. I...  [Read More]

It's called a lead target indicator. It's there to assist in aiming at enemy vehicles when they're moving. Theorietically if you aim at the circle instead of the actual ship you have a better chance of hitting the ship. I don't think it's 100 percent...  [Read More]

well how high is the poly count. it'd be nice if every model could be under 2000. But so long as it's nothing ridiculous like 5000 or more. I say just make it anyway. LOD's would be helpfull as well. For the record my current A-wing is over 3000 an...  [Read More]

all texures can only be in the power of 2. meaning.... 2 X 2 4 X 4 16 X 16 32 X 32 64 X 64 128 X 128 256 X 256 512 X 512 1024 X 1024 or any combination will work as well 128 X 512 256 X 1024 etc....  [Read More]

Whoah! "Amazingly Bad" huh, that's pretty messed up. What version of max are you using. I use 3ds max 5, and for me there is no animate buttom but instead an autokey button. (I hope you're not trying to use gmax, it won't work)...  [Read More]
