Well, I just tried it, and it didn't work, however I do believe I have to do some more digging in what you've given me. Thanks, again, though. :D EDIT: Okay, it's still shiny. Not sure what, exactly, I'm supposed to edit....  [Read More]

Okay, basically, this is something I've been fighting with for a while. I need to make shiny bits on the dancer's outfit unshiny. The dancer's outfit is not in the baseitems.2da, and even if it were, that still does not allow me to change the environ...  [Read More]

Ah. Okay. That explains a few things. How then, do I change the environmap for the textures? Editing or making a new .txi isn't doin' the trick. EDIT: How do I know what the name of the armour is?...  [Read More]

I think that this is a great idea. Is there a way to allow for choosing an NPC? I mean, it'd be difficult to replace T3, who, after Taris, is pretty much useless. However, I do happen to like Juhani. Replacing Carth or Bastilla would ruin the storyli...  [Read More]

Okay. I will delete the .txi. However, the 2da that I edited, was already in the main override. I've opened it a few times, just to be sure....  [Read More]

Well, I just changed every envmap in the appearance.2da to default, those that weren't "****". Still doesn't work. I also have the .txi that is empty, still. Anyone else have any ideas?...  [Read More]

I'm not familiar with the way .txi work. I'm fairly new to this. Glovemaster has given me help, however, I'm not understanding why things are shiny, instead of transparent....  [Read More]

Well, thanks. I'll see what I can dig up. :D EDIT: Okay, I'm havin' a little problem diggin' up the .txi file for some specialized armour. How would I go about findin' the .txi file, or possibly replacin' it? Edit 2: Where can I find the .txi files...  [Read More]

Thanks, but yes, it is turned on. What's happening, apparently, is that in the alpha channel, what I black out, becomes shiny. It's just more pronounced than the grey areas. Any advice would be appreciated. EDIT: Oh, is it possible to have multiple...  [Read More]

Yeah, it's 32 bit. Edit: Okay, so I've about given up. The skin is shiny, now, where I want there to be transparencies. I'm starting to wonder if it isn't something in the game. Is that possible? To my knowledge there is no .txi attached, at all. Am...  [Read More]

Could somebody please tell me what I'm doing wrong? I'm using Photoshop CS2 to edit a skin. However, when I save, with alpha channels checked, it will not save the alpha channels. A little help would be muchly appreciated....  [Read More]

Yeah, I know. Waiting for tax return. Edit: Heh, just realized that those were the specs from my wife's comp. My specs are up, now. Edit 2: Alrighty. Now I've got just a bronzed skin popping up, in game. Am I saving the texture wrong, or something?...  [Read More]
