No, MTX files dont seem to be compressed, rather they are a file that contains a number of images within it. You cant 'find' mtx.exe thats an in-house tool used for compiling the mtx files....  [Read More]

The floppy version of DOTT only has voices in the intro so that may be why. As for sound effects I dont know, perhaps its related to the problems with MI you mention in your other thread....  [Read More]

You dont need to modify descumm to do that. Dos has built in support for things like that. You need to use the pipe '|' character. E.g. "start|descumm5.exe script-1.dmp >test.log" outputs to test.log...  [Read More]
