This is a bit off-topic, but anyway, does anyone know of some really good (or even mildly amusing!) multiplayer games that are available purely online? I'm talking about Java applets or Shockwave/Flash games, that sort of thing.

The only two I'm aware of as being any good are:

Couronne (http://www.miniclip.com/couronne.htm) (down at the moment)
iSketch (http://www.isketch.net)

Games where you can have more than two players are preferable. :)

Thanks.

I heard you'll have to pay for 'Couronne Deluxe' when it comes out, though. :/

I hope that's false.

I hope that turns out to be bull****. The world would be a darker place without free Couronne.

If this comes to pass, we shall have to form the MIGC Java/Shockwave/Flash Division (MIGCJSFD), dedicated to churning out free implementations of well good games.

On the list:

Atoms
Couronne "Express"

Also, I think it seems likely that anything with "Deluxe" in the title will have to be paid for. It's marketin' speak, man! I hope I'm wrong though. :)

EDIT: I luvs teh lists!

Well http://www.miniclip.com) does say "free online games" in its title, so perhaps I'm wrong. I got that information from Don Greg anyway, ask him!

And speaking of http://www.miniclip.com) there's loads of games there. Possibly good ones.

Usually anything like couronne doesn't feature a demo if its free, unfortuantely ¬¬. They have a 'VIP' section, which also falls under marketing lingo. IT ALL ADDS UP I TELL YOU.

Well, possibly... Although I don't see why they'd suddenly charge you for it now.

Couronne Deluxe is up now, and you do in fact have to pay cash money for it. There's a free "demo", but you only get 15 bitchass minutes to play.
