The Color Purple Is it possible to like that book? It is good but (maybe because I'm a man...) I can't bring myself to like it. I'm not sure if I'm making sense here....  [Read More]

so 1000 page tomes are not the best choice. :D Damn... I'd recommend anything by Wodehouse. He's undoubtedly one of, if not the best writer of the 20th Century, IMO... I disagree. While I think Wodehouse was a talented writer... I believe George...  [Read More]

I would consider something that makes you think educational. ;) And I would suggest Atlas Shrugged for this month's book. I need some time to finish my Russian ones. :D If you can recommend that then I can recommend Hamlet :P. Which, though it isn'...  [Read More]

Nationality: British and European Political ideals: I believe the words "whining," "liberal," and "pacifist" sum it up rather well. Though a couple of my friends do like to refer to me as a communist for some reason... R...  [Read More]
Why would it worsen climate change? The number of cars on the roads would be the same but there would be a lot less of sitting around in traffic jams (I have no idea if you live in the UK but... when there's a jam on one of our motorways... it's gene...  [Read More]
Well I'm from the UK, but I'm not sure about Politics, since it isn't my thing. If Tony Blair is stepping down, who will become the Prime Minister? The Labour party will elect a new leader of the MPs available and the winner will take the place of M...  [Read More]
Hmm... I don't know about this. More likely than not it is another stealth tax and the issue here is that it is indiscriminate. The secretary on minimum wage who has to drive from his residential dormitory town to "the big city" may have t...  [Read More]

Wow... two CRPGs (this and Neverwinter Nights 2) in under half a year. I'm wondering who will invest in this game. IGN has already posted their review here (http://uk.pc.ign.com/articles/765/765776p1.html) giving the game 8.6/10; the does review se...  [Read More]

actually, i've run the built in framerate counter, and i've noticed only minor differences in the framerate when running the water effects. it seems to me that shadows are the biggest framerate hog which is rather surprising given how well a lot of g...  [Read More]

Hmm... I've found that the best way to improve performance is to turn off the water effects and lower the shadows down (though this does remove a lot of the ambience). Mapped terrain is very important for the game's visual side so I wouldn't turn tha...  [Read More]

Hmm... you could just edit k_con_canderpm.nss. It is the global script that (should) check for if a character is in your party and it used in these dialogue checks. When Yuthura joins your party, set a global boolean (we'll call it GBL_YUTHURA_JOIN)...  [Read More]

Jae, go into the toolset and open up 3400_Merdelain.mod. The dialogue in question is 3430_ending. From there you can remove the voice over in the "node" tab of each dialogue node :). It should be fairly simple from there to edit it as you w...  [Read More]
