I think AI should be eliminated from multi-player games, at least on line, just like Battlefield. That way it's all us....  [Read More]

This is probably old news, but I thought I'd post it for newbies. (Please, NOT No0Bs) The Recon will trigger enemy mines when it goes over one, but has a much smaller "trigger" radius. Try to get in front of your teammates when they go down...  [Read More]

I had this happen a lot on BF1, but rarely on BF2. Your computer specs are more than enough to run the game properly. If you're actually getting the lag indicator before it quits, as opposed to it simply crashing and going to desktop, then it might b...  [Read More]

I think one of the best things is the Pepsi logo in the back. You could have a whole sports theme going: football field, baseball diamond, hockey rink, NASCAR track, etc........  [Read More]

Anyone who puts a mod map in the AddOn folder will know they can play maps unpatched... :) Isn't that only in single player? I think you need 1.1 to play mod maps online. Maybe?...  [Read More]

Hmmm...let's see... "grew" up on IE, cause that's all there was at the beginning. On AOL (would rather dig my own eyes out than go back to them..(on dial-up go Earthlink)) learned that using Netscape outside AOL gave me better connection an...  [Read More]
I like 3rd person better, it gives me more peripheral vision to see if enemies are trying to flank me. But if I want more precises aiming, better hits...like an ATAT copilot, or if I'm on Endor in an ATST charging through the forest, (actually, the A...  [Read More]

^You're absolutely right. On Mos Eisley:Assault it's usually nothing but a bunch of Mauls running around on the villain side. I use that MP opportunity to learn other choices. I'm starting to like Grevious. He lacks force powers, can't "fly"...  [Read More]

heh heh. in the shipyard works well, near the rear entrance by the turrets. It is a nice spot, but be careful online as a lot of the villians have taken it on themselves to charge the hanger with the sole purpose of taking out the ammo droids....  [Read More]

The best way I can think to describe it, is to think of the Force/Jedi blocking like the droideka's shield. But it's less powerful than that because the droideka can block everything, including mines, rockets, etc. It's just there until it's power/ti...  [Read More]

I was wondering too, maybe I'm wrong, but I think in two man vehicles, like IFTs or AATs, you have to slice it twice, once for each passenger. Plus I think if your slicing is interrupted at any point, you have to start all over again at 0%. If I'm wr...  [Read More]

I haven't played BF2 in MP mode long enough to make a definitive statement, but it seems they took out, or altered, all the maps, except Hoth, that had airship and infantry/ground ship combinations. Now, if you're in a ship, you're in space. I'm thin...  [Read More]

Oh yes, one other thing I have to add to my dislike of the heavy weapons class: mines. NO where near as effective as in BF1. It seems you have to walk right on top of them for them to go off. I've placed them around corners, only to have enemy units...  [Read More]

... The shots also scatter in a wider range from the target. I'm noticing this with a LOT of the troops in BF2. I used be a Jet Trooper quite a bit in BF, I loved the EMP launcher. But if you watch it, especially in zoom level, in BF2 it takes a dist...  [Read More]

I'd say heavy weapons. Though compared to BF1 it does more damage against vehicles. But the main problems I have: No auto lock-on. Almost no noticeable splash damage against infantry. Almost meaning: remember in BF1 when a rocket would strike the gro...  [Read More]

Speeders are excelent agianst AT-ATs, just get a gunner and get next to the AT-AT(not head on but to the right side of it). The AT-AT can't turn to you and you gunner will take care of infantry That's where the IFTs come in. They should be defending...  [Read More]
