I thought your own vehicles were immune from your own attack (with FF off) unless an enemy was inside them (or if you were a Hero). I stand corrected then! Again I'm thinking that ANY unmanned ship is neutral, and can therefore be destroyed by enemy...  [Read More]

I think even with FF off, TKers can still blowup their own unmanned ships. With no one in them I don't think they're actually aligned, since enemy players can come in and fly them away. So they could probably stand in the hanger and time bomb all the...  [Read More]

I don't remember with any certainty, but I think in BFI you continued the spawning even if the CP was taken during that time. Example: If I'm a rebel on Mos Eisley, and pick the hanger as my spawn point, if it's taken before I spawn I might end up in...  [Read More]

To slice into a vehicle, use the reapiring 'weapon' on the vehicle. A green % will show up display how much of a % you have completed. When it reaches 100%, the enemy units inside the vehicle will pop out. The vehicle is locked for a second, then you...  [Read More]

I have to say, that when they still had orbital strikes in the game, I'd often go find me an out-of-the-way gonk droid and just hunker down, prone, so as to draw as little attention to myself as possible, and just oribital bomard the heck out of ever...  [Read More]

Now if celebrity death match was only REAL celebrities......... But this version DOES rock I love the new turning capabilities, as in vehicles or turrets. I'm sure if you use a mouse and keyboard, you remember in BF1 you had to keep cranking the mous...  [Read More]

Yeah, relish this magical time now, when the community is still small, still consisting of people who are discovering the game together and having fun! I guess that's the toss up. On the one hand there are people who on day 1 whine about "noobs...  [Read More]

Has anyone else experienced this.............? You zoom in, are about to set your sights on a human enemy player.......but as your cross-hairs hit the target, they suddenly jump or fly to a different position. And no matter how often you lock on to t...  [Read More]

Bespin's Cloud City is a great place to practice with the Dark Trooper cannon. There's lots of little platforms and ledges you can jump to and get really close. I had the same problem, I'm wasting ammo taking 4 or 5 shots to kill someone, when I real...  [Read More]

Oh, the graphics are definately important. I mean that in single player mode I can play with the settings cranked all the way up and have no problems. But online it's a different story. I have to sacrifice quality to get response time, but even at lo...  [Read More]

I don't think it's laggy. No game with crappy graphics like that can be laggy At what point do you have time to examine the graphics? I'm too busy offing rebels and dodging missiles to worry about the graphics....... :helm2:...  [Read More]

And besides, Pilots auto repair whatever their piloting (Has to be in pilot seat). So you'll have an advantage there to. Actually any pilot in a vehicle repairs it. For proof, throw five pilots into the Republic gunship........  [Read More]

I find it so hard to shoot five or six guys in a sweep of laser. Not saying that its impossible but its so sensitive to my mouse. It is tricky. It took me a good amount of practise in SP mode to get it down, and it's been awhile that I've been in a...  [Read More]

I don't understand why they never had a zoom when they are 100% accurate at ANY range, while the Hailfire is about as accurate as flicking rubber bands at a tank, but gets a scope anyway. If you're playing against AI or humans stupid enough NOT to p...  [Read More]

Here's a couple of things for Geonosis, and I'm speaking as a Republic trooper from what works against me: Rocket and sniper droids. Spawn a lot of these, and mine the inside and hallways of the spire. Keep firing the rockets while the walkers a sti...  [Read More]

The Droidekas are your trump card for the CIS. Personally, I don't like playing them, when rolling I manage to flip-flop when trying to go left or right, and end up getting shot up. But when I'm up with shields, I can take down a number of Republic t...  [Read More]

Another little strategy: If you're republic...spawn as a jet trooper and fly to the top of the cave opening. From there you can "walk" up to the top of the mountain. (It's a long and arduous process, and if you don't take the right path you...  [Read More]
If you're Imp, spawn as a pilot, get into an AT-ST and get to an AT-AT. If a speeder starts towing it, and is flying low enough, you can walk into its path and ......BOOM. It'll explode and you'll receive minimal, if any, damage....  [Read More]
