I'm in the process of creating a recruitment mod, and need some advice. What I'd like to do is remove an item from the party's inventory using a script attached to dialogue (if that's possible). This is to simulate "giving" the item to th...  [Read More]

I've been trying to change the appearance of Rukil's apprentice (he mentions she's a woman, but we find a man's corpse!) and I edited appearance in "tar04_appcorpse.utp" file. No change in game. Packed in .mod file (does K1 support .mod?)....  [Read More]

What about those other mpegs i found what are they? i.e. "tat_m17af_loc" is there any way i can view those as well? Hmm, the only tat_m17af_loc file I can find is tat_m17af_loc.mod, which isn't an mpeg file file, but rather a data archive...  [Read More]

I was wondering if it's possible to extract the movies out of the game and turn them into viewable clips? I found a bunch of mpegs but they can't be viewed in WMP and i can't convert them either (I use Blaze Media). Is there a codec I can download o...  [Read More]

I have gone for number 2 as i am useless at .Uti editing. I have edited this "k_def_heartbt01.nss" so that whenever you enter an area whatever is in that module will check the script to see the fog color. Here is the script i have changed....  [Read More]

H Now my plan is to get this onto an armband so that when you equip it, whatever module you are in it will set the fog colour. Is this possible? And if so how? It's not possible to directly fire a script when an item is equipped, since there are no...  [Read More]

Then would a suitable strategy for NWN2FindRefs to discover the hakpaks be to search for a folder named 'hak' within the game folder or the My Documents, and gather a list of *.hak files, and parse them as I do with the *.mod files? Probably, though...  [Read More]
