The only thing I can suggest is to use a script. Make your lift, and then use a script to move it on the z-axis the required number of game units, use a wait command in the script with the value 8000. Put that in a loop for 3 iterations, create ano...  [Read More]

Have you ever managed to get the 3d view in Radiant working on a previous version? If you have, try using that version and downloading the latest entities.def and set the paths up to point to your JA folder. Not as simple, but it should do the trick...  [Read More]

I had this when I 1st installed 1.4 of Radiant. I think might be to do with the paths in the project settings. If you're not pointing Radiant to your game folder then it's not going to find the textures. I apologise in advance if you've already chec...  [Read More]

If you're not bothered by it being totally reflective, you can just use the env_obsidian (?) textures in the textures/common folder. Looks like env_glass, but is black instead of see-through...  [Read More]

Eating and sleeping is for wimps:) How on earth do you expect to become a master of mapping if you "eat" and "sleep". Bah! Amateurs! it's strange this just happens on JA for you though. You could try compressing the textures - sk...  [Read More]

Bizarre!? Sounds like it could be a driver issue. Have had problems like this before with other quake games? The engine has used skyboxes since Half-life and Quake 2, so theoretically you should have problems on these games as well. Gi...  [Read More]
