Don't remember if this has been asked before.

But, are any of the sabers going to be curved like Dookus or Assajjs?

I`ve got an idea, you can get Rosey from the jedi of the endar spire (a loooong time with the lightsaber with no use) and use it in dantoine, maybe you can build Revan's Saber

I was wondering if this would be compatible with Shem's Super Enhanced Mod and Ulitmate Sound Mod. What I mean by compatible is that these sabers will be as powerful as sabers in that game are enhanced. If it is compatible I will be downloading this mod no matter what. And I love the skins especially the Tormenter.

It does look pretty sweet, but perhaps a tad too long for a standard single-saber? Either of the two 'hilts' that appear to comprise it would look pretty sweet with as a hilt on its own!

Well DDD said it was something for Malak.
And I thought Malak is one of the biggest human models in the game.

So a big lad would properly use a longer hilt and blade...
Though I admit the player holds the blade pretty close to the emitter.

I think its possible to change where the player holts the hilt.
I might look into this.

Just had a brainwave.

I just thought that I should make a weapon for Marka Ragnos.

Anyone who has played JA should recognise it.

I'll make his Force Scepter, but instead of the beam draining force energy, the beam will be a saber blade.

Thoughts?

Reposition the hilt along the Z axis relative to the Aurora base. I've done this with some of the Anakin style hilts to closer match the way it's gripped in the movies. The default KOTOR hilts are gripped closer to the emiter.

Sorry I didnt mean in that game I meant in that mod by Shem. And I I recall wernt the attacks 38-56 In that mod I mean. Thanks and I hope you understand what I meant.

Can this be say, one of the dead people from the Valley of the Dark Lords? That would technically be on a skeleton and it would be easy to get. I'm going to make it to where both Lightsiders and Darksiders can use it.

Also, I'm going to have to re-do the mapping on it, unless someone can tell me how to make lightsabers with multiple meshes?

Euh, some of my sabers are made of multiple meshes, well they were made out of seperate parts.

What I did before mapping, is just use Attach in Editable Mesh/Poly.
That button makes two loose objects to one, even if there's like a zillion miles of space inbetween them.

So I use Attach and then start the mapping.

Kotor doesn't seem to mind.

And cool looking skull things :p

There are dead people in the Valley in K1?

It can belong to Tulak Hord or something maybe?

He was a great saber duelist so it's fitting he have an awsome saber eh?

As far as i remember, the only dead bodies in the valley is either inside the tombs or the cave.

Well.. I think after the Attaching it's condsidered ONE mesh.

It somehow worked out for me, Rosey is an example of that.

Yes, after attaching it's just one. But I was hoping I wouldn't have to re-map it. But I'll get to work on that right away, it'll give me some pretty good practice for mapping.

BTW, DDD, I haven't forgotten about your saber (yet), I'm just extremely busy with Sleheyron, my own hilt, URM, and Mrs. Bailey's paper...

Right, as you have probably noticed there have been no updates recently.

The reason for this is that I really don't have the time to be modelling all day, especially when hilts take as long as they do.

Also, I have realised that i'm not really good enough at Max or PhotoShop yet to make a model mod of this size.

So I have two options available.

*Cancel the mod and release what I already have as a pack.

or

*Hand the project over to another modder with more ability and time to devote to modelling.

If anyone feels that they could take over this mod and see it done then feel free to say so here or via PM.

I will be moving onto a different project instead which involves less modelling etc so as to get back into practice in other areas of modding.

I will most likely go back to my Korak planet mod.
