"Natalie? Whats wrong?" Dwain asked concerningly, helping her up from the floor. Suddenly, he knew what was wrong. He saw exactly what Natalie saw. It was a vision of some kind. Of people suffering from the cruelty of the sith. Dwain let go of her hand, and everything returned to normal. He was shocked.
She looked at dwain with tears in her eyes, then quickly walked off to the east dorimitories to shut herself out from the rest of the world.
In the Med-bay, Dante was thinking: Telos Academy? Mmm...I'll be more careful...there are handful Jedi there...And if Bastila is there, there might be some issue. But I think I can handle her.
"Are we at Telos Academy yet?" Dante walked to the cargo hold and asked the pilot, Zayne.
(Zayne's inside the cargo hold.)
"Well Dante," Zayne started, still glancing at the newcomer, "In case you haven't noticed the snow and the cold, yes, we are at the Telos Academy."
"Mmm...Thank you Zayne, when are we set off?" Dante asked again, "If we're not going out soon, I think I'll take a small nap."
"Probably whenever we get this stowaway situation done," He said, pointing at the newcomer once again, "So, in another words, feel free to nap."
"Yep, thank you. When we're ready, please wake me up. I'll take a nap in Med-Bay." CSI went to the Med-bay and murmured: "I always wanted a nice sleep."
"You know what? Lets just forget about this newbie for now! Lets just get out of the ship and greet Bastila." Dwain began to walk out of the cargo bay. He stopped at the entrance. He glared at Cor.
"We're not done with you yet. Stay out of trouble, I've got my eye on you!"
Cor remained silent and still as a sentinel as the group left. When he was alone he found a crate that was against the wall, and sat on it, leaning back on the wall, he shut down a few systems, allowing his body to reboot and recharge, and his organic self to rest.
Dante waked up. "They're all gone?" Then he yawned, and murmured: "Man...that was a nice sleep."
When he saw the protocol droid, he sighed, but he said nothing more. Then he left the ship and walked towards the entrance of the academy.
As soon as everybody was outside the ship, they were in an enormous hanger. It was like the one on the Citadel Station, but more larger and more brighter. They were greeted by a young, blonde haired man, who wore a Jedi Robe.
"I am Mical. I'm here to escort you to our Jedi Master; Bastila Shan. She is expecting you..."
"We are expected?" Dwain interupted.
"Indeed. You especially." Mical pointed to Dwain. "Now please, if all of you shall follow me..."
"Well, aren't we full of surprises huh? Someone actually is here to greet us! None of this happened on Corellia or Nar Shadda, no no," Zayne complained, "But let's get on with this."
"Maybe she's good looking," He mumbled.
Mical led the crew to some sort of Circular Chamber, with a strangly, shaped statue sitting in the center. Befor then, Dwain noticed they had passed certain individuals who carried Lightsabers. Students no doubt. One person he immediatly recognised was Atton Rand, but he didn't seem to notice Dwain passing by with a crew behind him.
Mical urged them to wait a moment while he went to inform Bastila of their arrival.
A few minutes later, he returned. With the so-called legendary knight, Bastila Shan at his side. She didn't seem to change much after the war.
"Long time, no see, Dwain." She began. "And I see you have brought companions with you."
(nnooooooo not mical, i cannot stand him lol)
Natalie woke up from the dormitories and wandered the ship. 'They must of gone' She thought. She walked into the cargo bay.
"Hello again, what are you doing here in the first place?" She asked the Cyborg
Lanna bowed slightly.
"Bastila Shan." She stood in almost disbelief. "It is an honor to finally meet a jedi of your calibur," said Lanna. "I am Adia Lanna."
"Hello again, what are you doing here in the first place?" The girl from earlier prompted to ask.
"So NOW you're nice," Cor quiped at her, activating at the sound of someone entering the cargo hold.
"To answer your question, I'm here on duty," he told her, standing up, he loomed over her like a wrathe. "I'd offer my hand in a handshake, but people find it rather uncomfortable to do so with me," he said.
"It is an honor to finally meet a jedi of your calibur," said Lanna.
Bastila smiled at Lanna. "Please, you flatter me." she chuckled. "I mean, I not what you could consider a legend among the Jedi."
"What is this place?" asked Dwain, curiously.
"This is our new Academy, a place where we can establish rebuilding our Jedi Order." she answered. "The people you have likely passed by are our Knights and Padawan Learners."
"So where is Admiral Onasi? I was led to believe he was here."
"He is here. Every once in a while, he inspects the progress of our new Jedi Order."
Darranak was very uncomfortable. "So, how does this help us find Revan? This woman doesn't look like she knows him and doesn't look like she had cash either."
"Revan?" said Bastila. "You're looking for Revan?"
"Well'p, that's what he said!" Dwain chuckled as he pointed at Darranak. "We've been sent on a mission from the Republic to find Revan, 'cause he is needed again."
"This doesn't seem that bad. Last time i was on Telos, i heard about this place and that it was full of white-haired chicks," He said, as he then got onto the conversation.
"Judging by your confused face, i take it you're also looking for him."
Darranak just took a moment to glance around himself nervously. He was safe in this temple... wasn't he? Then again, that other other guy might have been a jedi...
"The last time I ever saw Revan, he said he was leaving for the Unknown Regions... he said he "remembered" something from his old life. The life of him once being the Dark Lord." Bastila turned her head to one side, as if trying to remember all she could.
"We know he was looking for a long, forgotten Empire known as the True Sith. Do you know anything about that?" Dwain asked calmly.
"Indeed, I have heard of them. Unfortunatly, I do not hold the answers you seek. However, I do hold some bits and pieces of Information about the Unknown Regions."
"Right.... you would prefer I wasnt?" Natalie responded to the droid, not moved by its looming precense. She walked out to join the rest of the group.
'So THATS bastila' She thought, the Legendary Jedi Knight looked at her for a second, obviously seeing something out of place. Natalie slightly turned away to make out as if she didnt notice bastilas eyes upon her.
Then the Knight turned around and carried on talking to the rest of the group.
Dante walked into the hangar, and saw Bastila. Well, the legendary Jedi knight. Doesn't look so strong... Dante smiled and made a politic bow: "Greetings, Master Shan. It's been long time." Then he waited patiently for the famed Jedi Knight to respond.
"Yes yes, we all know the tragic rise and fall, erm, or should i say, the fall and rise of Revan?" Zayne had said after her response.
"It has been a long time, hasn't it Dante?" Bastila greeted. "How is life of being a Commando?"
"I've seen him in action. Very impressive combat skills!" Dwain commented. "Anyway. what do you know of the Unknown Regions?"
"I know one place you can begin your search. It was the very planet which witnesed the destruction of the Star Forge. Rakata Prime, or as we now call it, Lehon."
"Oookay... anything else?" Dwain asked.
"I've tried to gather all the information I can about the Unknown Regions, through some of the Sith Holocrons stored in this academy..."
"Holocrons?" Dwain said, astonished.
"Don't worry. I intend on destroying them afterwards. These holocrons musn't be put into the wrong hands." Bastila promised.
"Lehon?" Natalie asked with some concern. "I remember that place......"
"Indeed you probably do" Bastila replied, looking at her for a moment before talking to the captain.
'I wonder if the enclave has been rebuilt..... its where I started' She thought, remembering back to her days at the enclave, as a padawan.....
"Good, thank you." Dante smiled politely, and continued: "Where is Carth? Isn't he with you?"
"He is in the control room. You may visit him if you wish, as he has been eager to meet you ever since you have arrived."
So the crew walked down the halls towards a control room. On each sides of the room were Computer Terminals and all sorts of Hardware up against the walls. The person over one of the computers was no doubt, Carth Onasi.
"Admiral Onasi. Commando Dante Sparda, reporting in!" Dante said and stood on his feet.
[Edit: To Nifteye below: It's "awkward". Don't worry about it.]
Natalie didnt bother saluting, since her training taught her not to salute someone when not in uniform.
'Well that was easy, of all the chances he just happens to be here when we turn up.'
She looked around her, seeing a few Jedi looking her way, then quickly turning back when they relised she was watching back. She felt awekward (spell? I suck :P) to be around Jedi once more, since last time she left on the wrong foot.
OOS: Awkward.
Darranak was confused. "Okay, who is this Admiral Onsai? I thought we were looking for the polar region so we could find Bastilla Shan so we could find Revan."
"You don't listen to anything do you Darranak? We are in the Polar Region and we have found Bastila, she didn't know much, so maybe Carth knows more," Zayne told him.
"You too are looking for Revan?" Carth wondered.
"Yep, did you figue all that by yourself?" Dwain smiled. Carth chuckled.
"Un-questionably. You already know why Revan left for the Unknown Regions?"
"Because he was looking for the True Sith Empire?"
"Exactly. About a year after our quest of the Star Forge, Revan suddenly gained a new memory of his old life. The memory of the finding of the True Sith. So he fled to the unknown regions, in search of this Empire to destroy it. Four years later, he had not returned, and it was known that the Jedi Exile went in search for Revan, just after her campagne against the three Sith Lords."
"Huh. There's another search party looking for Revan?"
"Huh... Watching them talking is so boring," William wondered outloud. He placed his binoculars on the ground beside him, and gently grasped the coat tighter around him. "Stupid bloody Republic transport didn't wait for me." "Now I can't go up to them without being shot at."
He continued to observe Dwain and Carth before thinking, "Maybe I should've stayed on Dxun and hunt Bomas. Too bad they don't put up much of a fight."
"You didnt know? The Jedi exile did search for Revan, I dont know if she took her companions with her however." She said, feeling even more uncomfortable and Awkward.
'Maybe one day I will be taught once more on how to feel the force....' She thought, Bastila suddenly turned around and looked at her.
"Um.... something wrong?" Natalie asked quietly.
"Well no... but... nevermind" She replied and then resumed speaking.
"Right ok..." She said, if the Striders crew itself had force sensitives on board, how long until they discovered her?
(ahem ahem.... ^)
"If Revan is out searching for the True Sith," Carth continued. "Then one place he would have gone would most likely be Lehon, or better known as Rakatan Prime."
"There you'll find an forgotten tomb known as The Temple of the Ancients." added Bastila. "It's a shelter containing a super computer withholding data and information. Its likely he had gone to that very place again. So, if you find the True Sith, you'll find Revan."
"Find the True Sith, Find Revan." Dwain repeated. "That makes sense. And not to mention we could bump into the Jedi Exile on our way."
"Then you shall depart when you're ready. I'll upload the coodinates of Lehon to your DataPad." said Carth, as Dwain handed him his little electronic journel.
"What if it is inhabited with those things, you know, the big-headed small eyed beasts. Rakatans, yeah, that's the thing," Zayne asked.
"What the heck is a Rakatan?" Natalie said, obviously never met one.
"And better yet... what if they are aggressive?, you dont walk into the heart of a unknown stronghold and walk straight up to the computer. ohhh why do I bother...." She walked off.
"Something is strange about that one." Said Bastila as she was uploading the co-ordinates
"Yeah, but you get used to her strangness." Dwain replied on Bastila's comment.
"In case many of you do not know, Rakata's are humanoid figures with Amphibian features." Bastila explained. "They were once powerful practioners of the dark side, and used it's power to fuel their technology. Which is how they have gone corrupt and eventually lost their power. One of the tribes, known as the Elders, are generally friendly. But other tribes are a different case, depending on what they believe in."
"Uh huh? Sooo... are we done yet with the coodinates?" Dwain wondered.
"Yes, the uploding is complete. Once you arive on Lehon, you'll find a Republic Settlement on the planet. I would head there to begin your mission." said Carth, as he handed Dwain his DataPad.
"Very well, Admiral Onasi, Jedi Master Shan," Zayne said, bowing at both and then making his way to the ship.
"I'm going to start it up," He told Dwain as he passed beside him.
((( bah how long is it gonna be till she gets recognised for FS potential lol
'Strangeness? well thanks a lot' She thought as she headed on to the ship.
"Be careful of that one, I sense.... something out of place" Said Bastila when Natalie left the area.
Natalie walked onto the ship, and quickly headed into the cargo hold to prepare for the coming journey. She sat down slowly and leaned back against the wall of the ship, to get some sleep.
"Well, thank you for your time!" Dwain said to Carth and Bastila. "I'll be going now."
"Before you go..." Bastila interupted. "There are a few things we must speak about. That one who travels with you, Natalie, she has the potential to wield the force. Did you know that?"
"Yep. But I wasn't paying to much attention to that."
"On your journey, it is likely to encounter Force Sensitives. And even to help assist them attune to it's power. But be careful."
"Erm... oookay!"
"One last thing. If your mission succeedes, and you really find Revan, I wan't you to give him a message from me." said Bastila.
"What am I? A delivery boy?"
"Just tell him..." Bastila took a breath. "That I love him."
Dwain was astonished at what he heard. A Jedi, an actual Jedi, having feelings? This was big news.
"Okay. Anything else?"
"Tell him that his friend, Carth, is following orders. Keeping the Republic in tact." the Admiral requested.
"Very well. I shall pass on these messages to Revan. I'll see you soon." and Dwain left the room, headed back to the ship.
"Oh hell no! Now I have to follow them to Lehon? This is just messed up." Taking a look back to see a small old ship behind him, William thought, "I knew I should've bought a new one."
Sighing tiredly, he went over and warmed it up.
As Dwain headed up the ramp of the ship, he saw Dalo and Jeic walk down the ramp.
"Where do you think your going?" Dwain asked suspiciosly.
The two of them told Dwain they were leaving the mission, because they were tired of fighting and wanted to go back to their families. Suprisingly, Dwain respected their wish.
"Very well. Go on, get outs here." and the Two left the ship forever. Dwain walked up the ramp and into the ship.
((As Thread Master, I'm kicking out Topsite and Steven from this RP. They aren't doing anything contributing towards this, therefor I have the Right to dismiss them from the RP.))
"Lehon..." Dante said to Dwain, "Are you sure that he's there? Because I suspect we would encounter Dark Jedi, or probabily Sith, there. So I think I need some Jedi to practice my skills, any volunteers?"
"Hell, count me in. I need to practice my skills." called out Dwain. Everyone was currently in the Main Hold, hovering over the Security Consol which was displaying a holographic projection of the Planet Lehon.
"Thats it .... Lehon" Natalie said as she looked at the hologram, it looked... peaceful, and quiet.
"As for Dark Jedi..... what can we do against them? During the wars I saw Dark Jedi tear apart entire Platoons (Thats about 12 men BTW) in literally seconds! I why do I keep worrying..." She went on, thinking about the Dark figure and the disturbing dreams she haves so frequently.
"Bah, they're no match for us. What are Dark Jedi anyways these days? Just bald guys with some armor and a stick. Not even a Lightsaber," Zayne said, relaxed.
"A force user isnt defined by their weapon alone" She replied, remembering back to very early teachings.
"Heh, I could use some sleep." She said as she nodded to dwain then walked off to the cargo hold.
