The Search for Revan

Many months after the final destruction of Malachor V. The redeemed Revan is now believed to be searching in the Unknown regions of the Galaxy in search for a forgotten Empire known as the True Sith.

The Republic is still out in war against the evil Sith. In desperation, they call for Revan's aid in this brutal war.

After time of waiting, the Republic gather a team of unique individuals with outstanding skills to lead an expedition to search for Revan, in order to acetate his fate...




Dwain Arik looked around the entire room of complete strangers whome he did not know. Some of them looked a bit menacingly. Some did not.

The room was completly shaded of shadow. On the edges of the circular room were stone bench seats built into the walls. In the center was a Holographic Projector, presenting a hollow map of the entire Galaxy, making it the only source of light in the room.

A few days ago, the republic sent a negotiator down to Nar Shadda, where Dwain spent his time in temporary retirement. They presented him with an assignment to lead a team to search for the redeemed Darth Revan. Under his impulsiveness and hunger for adventure, Dwain accepted.

Finally, after a few minutes, two uniformed men entered the room. Republic Officers no doubt, as they were wearing the traditional red uniform to represent their leagues with the republic.

"Greetings. I am Sergant Denn and welcome to our Republic Embassy here on Coruscant. You each have each been selected and chosen for this mission to search for Revan, for your rather outstanding skills. But before we begin, does anyone have a question?"

Dalo Kahn had listened to Denn's speech. Dalo had heard about the search for Revan, from his trusted friend, the Republic Admiral, Carth Onasi. Carth had always spoke highly of Revan and Dalo knew that if he could find Revan, he would be doing Carth a favour. Of course, he knew about Revan's past as a Sith Lord. In the Mandalorian Wars, Dalo had fallen to the dark side along with him, so he and Revan had met each other.

Darraak didn't have any questions. But he was itching from top to bottom to get this blasted thing started. He had had his doubts about this mission, something this out in the open could ruin you chances for dream jobs with gazillionaire criminal lords. But it was fairly questionable in it’s own right, and the pay was good. He yawned.

"Well, this is famous," Zayne had remarked immediately as he had entered the room. He sat down, his legs crossed and over the large Holographic Projector, yet he did not trample with it, his hands crossed behind his head, like he was the king of the world.

"I'm listening," He told them.

"Good to see you have come, Skyblade!" Denn greeted the visitor.
"I guess you have no questions regarding to this. Very well, lets begin! Hansen!"

Hansen was the other uniformed man next to Denn. He walked over to the projector and inserted a small DataPad in the port of the Computer. Suddenly, the holographic image of the galaxy disapeared, and a picture of man wearing a Black and red mask with a black robe, appeared in the projection. As well as some kind of biography next to the picture. No doubt that the man in the picture was Darth Revan.

"About five years ago, Revan became a republic war hero after the desturction of the ancient Star Forge."

"Yeah... we know! I saw that holovid of the victory recorded at that... Rakatan world!" said Dwain.

"Very well. A year later, he disapeared without a trace. He left his crew and ship behind to search in the Unknown regions, apparantly looking for a long, forgoten empire known as the True Sith..."

"True Sith!? Is it just me or does that sound incredibally cheesey?" Asked Jeic, who was still wondering weather or not to go along with the mission.

"Perhaps, but you'd be surprised!" replied Denn.

"Anyway, Revan has not returned for some time. And as you all know, we are still at war with the "regular" Sith. Revan's military tactics are the reason why we won against the Mandalorians. We need him again."

"So why not just send a rescue team? Why do you need us for?" Dwain interupted.

"You ARE the rescue team. We've all seen your records, and you have all been proven to be phenominal!"

"Well, I sure feel special!" Dwain jested.

"If you all follow me to the dock, I'll apoint you all to your ship." said Hansen, as he urged everyone in the room to follow him.

The two officers led the crew down many passages of halls and corridors, untill they reached the hangar bay dock. The entire indoor field was filled with many ships of different class. But Denn and Hansen led the team to one particular ship. It was a Republic Light Freighter class, HX-629. It bore some resemblence to the early model of the Ebon Hawk.

"Your ship, gentlemen: The Strider. A new model of the early Ebon Hawk. Fitted with the best and sophisticated Deflector Shield. As well as modified turret systems, the navigational computer and the hyperdrive. Fitted with the best, and we're lending it to you!"

They were going on this whole mission so the Republic could save some idiot trator? Talk about brain-dead...
Hmph. Fitted with the best. Didn't look so hot. He wondered if he'd be able to squeeze his minicruiser in it somewhere, somehow. He did always have the option of turning this one down.

"Hmmm, yes, quite a ship. But the Ebon Hawk, the original, was super-modified so i'm guessing this compared to the original is some of a pile of junk," Zayne said.

"You underestimate the Strider. You'd be quite surprised on what she is capable of." Denn noted. "And Darraak. I looked at your service records, and found that most of your assignments involves your minicruiser. The garage inside the ship is quite capable of holding it. It can stand on an elevated port, so you can have easy access on exiting the ship."

"So whats this piece of Junk capable of doing?" Dwain asked.

"Not only does it have modified Turbo Blasters, Navicomputer, Deflector Shield and Hyperdrive, but is also installed with the latest accessory: A Cloaking Device!" said Hansen.

"Impossible! No ship this small could have a cloaking device!" Dwain added.

"It was a complicated process. Not to mention this Cloak is a prototype, and the only one in existence for small freighters today!"

Dalo looked at the ship. To be honest, it did look like a piece of junk, but if it was the only ship the Republic had been bothered to give them, then so be it.

(whats wrong with the ship?)

"Now team. Appointed on this mission, Dwain Arik here will captain the ship. He has a good service record as a High Officer who served during the Mandalorian Wars. So I wan't you all to respect him as well as you can." Denn pointed out.

"The rest of you, each of you possess certain skills that can be worthy for crewing the ship. I expect you to put those attributed to good use. An example here is the Selkath Engineer, Jeik. He has been appointed on this mission for repairs on The Strider."

(OOC: Zayne's just being picky :xp: )

"Whatever. As long as i have a place to crash and this doesn't take long. I sure hope this pile of junk is as better than it looks like you know," Zayne rudely told them.

"By the way, i pilot the ship."

Darranak finally said a few words. "So let's start already." He was also reflecting on the ship's cloak. He'd seen that before, it was actually just and extended lightbender, that was how a "cloak" could fit on a ship. No good against tracking, or radios, if it was indeed what he thought it was. He'd wanted one for the cruiser, which he was genuinely happy could fit on the ship (he didn't want to be stuck on that hunk of junk when it blew), but it had been too small for even that.

Zayne walked up to the cockpit and it was full of flashes and buttons. Sitting down, Zayne had an immediate reaction.

"Ooh, confy," Was his reaction.

Suddenly, an alarm in the background occured. A high pitched sound came from within Denn's pouch at his side. He opened it and pulled out a small comm unit.

"Sergent Denn! The Sith... The embassy is under attack!" the comm unit spoke.

"Damn! How did the Sith... No time! Team, we sure could use a gun in hand to fight against the intruders!"

Because i was interested but i get the feeling you have all the crew you need..... :S

"Alright..." Zayne said out loud, holding onto his hidden Lightsaber.

The crew exited The Strider, only to find a hanger with small groups of Sith Troopers invading Republic Territory.

Dwain reached in behind his Mesh Jacket, and unclipped from his belt two Lightsabers. He ignited both of them: One Blue and the other Silver.

Next thing he knew, he lashed out at one of the Sith Troopers. He flurried his Lightsabers across the man's torso.

"This party's getting crazy," Zayne said, taking out his Blaster Pistol, "Let's rock!"

Zayne immediately shot repeatdly at the Sith Troppers. Their slow blaster rifles where of nothing compared to his Blaster Pistol. He took down one with five shots and shot one in the thigh.

Dwain used Force Jump to glide across to another group of Sith Troopers, with both his Lightsabers in grip. He landed in the center of the small crowd, and flourished his deadly melee weapons against the opposers. They all were wiped out, too slow for reaction to use their blaster rifles.

(OOC: Come on, Guys! Jason and I can't fight off the Sith alone!)

Cpl Zione signalled her unit to fire on the invading sith, and then switched positions, she fired shot after shot into the advancing sith forces, paying attention to the Saberists who were also swiftly cutting down sith after sith.
She took a aimed shot and instantly dropped one of the sith troopers, while the few remaining soldiers under her command fired stream of stream of blaster fire into the enemy ranks.
Part of her wished to be part of that expedition, but for now, she would do her job as a soldier of the republic.


((EDIT: Ok i posted i the character databank section, shes a republic soldier stationed at the embassey but could you make it possible so she somehow ends up as part of the crew?))

Fricking sith. Guess he was in this mission now, even though it would neer get two parsecs. He used his cable to get onto the Frieghter, he didn't want to be exposed as he didn't have his suit on. He picked a Sith that wasn't paying attention to him and took him out with a few headshots from his Z-38.

The Hangar was finally cleansed of Sith activity, but Dwain knew that they would be sending reiforcements soon enough.

"We can't hold them off forever! You'll have to be sent on your mission straight away!" Denn yelled out, gunning down a fallen Sith Trooper.

"We'll need to open the Hangar Bay doors. But the controls are in the Hangar Command Center!" said Hansen, as he walked over to the group.

"Peh! Ain't this a good day for the Sith to arrive, when we are just about to be sent on a mission!" Dwain exclaimed.

"You'll have to unlock the doors, so you can make an escape from the embassy. Cpl. Zione, I advise you take your unit team to aid the group" Denn ordered.

"Roger that, alright lets move!" She barked to her few soldiers as they sprinted off to the hangar command center.
Part of her wanted to stay and look out for the wounded, by she wasnt about to refuse a veteran of the mandalorian wars. If she had to stay at the embassy so be it, but she wished more than anything ever before to travel on the expedition, it would beat the toughest battle any day

The team ran across the Hangar to the exit door. Dwain grasped his Lightsabers tightly to expect any enemies behind the door.

"Come on, sir!" One of the soldiers yelled at Darranak as he struggles to pull all his armor on.
"I'm coming!"

[Off-topic] did the ship take off yet? I'd like to go with you folks, as a crew.

"I feel it's like my duty to go with you guys, on this, eh, ship, to find Revan." Dante appeared on the landing pad, "From Carth's direct order. Oh dear! Isn't that Dalo Kahn? Long time no see, my friend!" He ran up the ramp and shook hand with Dalo.

"Dante!" Dalo shouted as Dante ran up the boarding ramp, "Long time, no see. What are you doing here?"

"Well, I'm here to aid you guys to search for Revan. I think you guys need an Elite Commando, no?" Dante cocked his blaster, and said, "I'm ready to roll, are you?"

Then he shouted: "Dunk!" Then he gunned down a few other Siths by well placed shots.

After gunning down a few stray sith, Natalie quickly sliced the lockdown sequence using her unique skills in tech (ahem ahem). The Hangar doors slowly started to open, she told her troops to stay put while she headed back down, after saying fairwell, she headed back down to the ship to await orders.

"We've done what we needed. Now lets get back to the Hangar and get the hell outa' here!" Dwain exclaimed.

They walked out of the Hangar Command Center, and back down the staircase. Only to find at the foot of the steps was a group of Sith Troopers.

"Freeze! Don't move! We've got you surrounded!" one of the Troopers yelled out.

But Dwain didn't take orders from scum. He shot Force Lightening at the group, putting them in a paryalised state. He then activated both his Lightsabers, and started slicing from one soldier at a time.

Zayne immediately reached for his pistol, but when he pulled the trigger, he found out it was his Lightsaber.

"Oh well, might as well use it..." He mumbled lowly as he gripped the hilt with both hands and rushed at the Sith Troopers, igniting the long and curved Lightsaber, with a flicker of a finger, a loud hiss accompanied a teal blade growing and glowing from the top of the Lightsaber. That was the last thing a Sith Trooper heard as he was immediately cut down.

The area was finally cleansed of every sith scum in their radius. Thanks to Dwain's team of highly trained companions.

The group exited the Command Center, and ran across the hangar towards the Strider.
They walked up the entrance ramp, into the ship. Dwain ran into the corridors leading towards the cokpit.

"SOMEONE FLY THIS PIECE OF CRAP, LETS GET THE HELL OUT'A HERE!" he yelled.

Natalie (Cpl Zione) stared up the ramp, this was her one chance to make a difference, as a soldier there would always be a battle to fight, always a unit to lead.
Hesitating for a moment, she snuck aboard the ship and hid in the starboard dormitory.

(Yes iv sneaked aboard lol)

As the ship began to take off, a young dark women with a white robe on stepped out of the shadows. She spoke with a soothing voice:

"I believe this is the expedition for Revan? Good then I'm in the right place."

Dante smiled when he's seeing the landing ramp is closing. He took off a Sonic Grenade and pulled the pin, and threw it out: "Hey, Soldiers, a souvenior!" Then the blast sent the remaining Sith Troopers into oblivion.

As the Hangar Bay doors fully opened, the Strider was currently hovering into position of taking off. The ship rotated to face the wide enough exit, and the freighter blasted out of the Embassy.

Dwain was looking out the cockpit window. The Stadium-like building was raided with betallions of Sith forces. An invasion.

"Well, thank god that's over!" But Dwain was cut short when he heard a blast that came from the exterior. "SITH'S BLOOD!"

He looked back at the cockpit, and saw a flight of Sith Fighters, attacking the ship.

"Damn. We are not comming out of this easily! Skyblade, try and keep a distance away from those fighters. Activate the deflector shield. I'll man a Turret, and I need a volunteer to use the second turret!"

"Then you need a Commando to man the current, Sarge." Dante volunteered, when he was sitting on the ground and polishing his favorite Custom Crafted Sniper Blaster. "So do I got more Sith to blast?"

Aida slammed her fist on the wall. "Damn those Sith!" She begins to pace. "Despite all their obvious downsides, they are persistent. We will have to get away from them quickly before they alert the rest of their fleet to our presence." She casually walks away. "I'm going to meditate, call me if you need me." And with that, she was gone.

"Alright, shields activating!" Zayne shouted out as he pressed a button, activating the shields, "Hold on people!"

Zayne pressed full throttle on The Strider, trying to keep as much distance as he could, evading as many blaster shots as he could.

"Hurry up with those turrets!"

Natalie hearing of all of this, left her hiding place (none of you dont know shes on the ship i dont think) and ignoring the people obviously busy, climbed into a turret and began plugging away at the fighters.

She poured shot after shot into the squadron of sith fighters, destroying a few as more swooped in to fire.........

(BTW i put in her bio that she has a spark of force sensitive inside her.
You really think i would make her a boring old rank and file trooper?)

"All the turrets are gone!" Darranak complained, "And I have yellow blood all over my suit! Some mission." He slammed into a wall as the ship lurched, and he ended up crawling. *sigh* sometimes walking was just overrated. He scrambled to his cruiser, ready to jettison if teh sheild failed, not that was going to take on these Sith in space if he could avoid it. He was a crack assasin, not some ** *** ******* ***** pilot!

Dwain's Auto-aim system was pointing randomly at each of the attacking Sith Fighters. His gloved fingers pressed against the triggers, laser fire burst out of the Turbo Blasters. Small explosions were made after Dwain took down an enemy Fighter.

"Hey Dante! How many have you gunned down?" Dwain laughed. There was no reply.

"Errr... Dante? Are you in there?" Dwain called out. Again, no reply. Who was in the bottom turret, he wondered.

Dwain noticed a second button on his control sticks. A small, red button next to the trigger. Dwain pressed it, wondering what would happen. Then he looked out his overlooking window, to see a missle burst out of the Turrets. The seemed to follow and assigned target, a rather paranoid looking Fighter. The Missle finally hit the Sith Fighter, vaporising the remains of the destroyed Fighter.

"OHH, SWEET!!! SEEKER MISSLES!" Dwain yelled out in joy.

"More than you, wiseguy." Dante shouted back, after manned another turrent. His gunning skill is very good, as he's an elite commando.

Aim for the pilot, Dante thought and he put his crosshair on the lead starfighter's cockpit and pressed trigger. "Bye bye." Then the first starfighter exploded, and the two behind it also exploded because of the shards. "Bingo!"

Suddenly another red light flashed. "Seeker Missles?" Dante thought for a while. No problem. "Dwain, let's see how many seeker missiles you can take! Bring it on! This is where the fun begin!" Then he carefully aligned his crosshair to the head of one of the missile and flipped the weapon switch to Ion Mode. And a small beam hit the Missile head and after a while, it exploded far before it could reach The Strider.

"Come 'n get some!" yelled Dwain, as he fired his Turbo Blaster rapidly at the assigned targets, destroying them in the process. There were already so little fighters left, spoiling Dwain's fun. One fighter was gliding towards the Strider, and fired point blanc. Due to the deflector shield, the laser firing bounced back at the Fighter.

His engine was blown from his own fire, and the small ship was about to crash into the Strider.

"SO LONG, SUCKER!" Dwain yelled out, as he fired a Seeker Missle at the partially destroyed Fighter. Now it was gone!

Adia appeared next to Dwain. "Sir, I believe there is someone else on the ship who can feel the Force." She shifts her weight and gives him a glaring look. "Certainly you can feel them?"

(I hope its alright to point out Nathalies force sensitivity. If not i will edit this post)

"Errr... who are you? What are you doing in my Turret?" Dwain asked awkwardly.
But he indeed did feel someone of force sensitivity onboard the ship. Infact, this person so happened to be the mystery being down in the seconed turret.

A fighter zoomed past the Turbo Blaster, giving a fright to both Dwain and the Jedi.

"Oh, your gonna get it, you son of a..." Dwain turned the Turret around, for the auto-target to assign the Fighter. He pulled the triggers, and the fire burst out rapidly to the enemie.

"Yeah... er, you might wanna hold onto something... woman... jedi... whats your name?"

She grabs ahold of the first thing she can and begins to speak.

"I am Adia Lanna, but you can call me Lanna."

"We haven't been formally introduced so as soon as you eliminate that fighter, maybe we can exchange pleasantries."
