I think it lends itself to the way the apprentice character is supposed to act. He is a human weapon, and the behind lightsaber pose looks more aggressive. The traditional jedi stance makes for easier defense....  [Read More]

Vader never had his training fully completed by Palpatine because palps wanted to hold onto power for as long as possible. On top of that, you have to have conduits of living tissue to be able to use force lightning. So Vader is screwed on two fronts...  [Read More]

If it is in, it is bound to have some sort of offensive capability. Perhaps along the lines of the interdictor, more for its special abilities than survival in ship to ship combat. I mean, in Dark Forces there had to be a reason the Executor kept pr...  [Read More]

I read on a game site somewhere that Lucasarts was taking a few key reporters behind their E3 presentation about the new game tech for Indiana Jones and showing them a secondary, secret show using that stuff with Star Wars material. There was also ta...  [Read More]

DSII destroyed the Mon Cal Cruiser Liberty, then kept going to pick off ships until the fleet moved so close to the star destroyers that it couldn't target them. They probobly didn't go for Home One first because they had no idea which was the flagsh...  [Read More]

Good point about the spaceship heroes. I wouldn't mind Iblis having a Dreadnaught running around. It would pack a heck of a punch. Perhaps it could be a pair of them or something....  [Read More]

I thought I read/heard somewhere that you could at the very least do a 3-player skirmish. If this is the case, I don't see why you couldn't do a 3-way conquest. The only difficulty is what to do with that 3rd player while 2 others are fighting a tact...  [Read More]

Perhaps they could introduce an upgrade/replace system. Like they did with the X-wing in campaign, the Imps start out with a Tartan, then advance to a Lancer frigate. Likewise, rebels can get a carrack, then advance it to a dreadnaught, or the other...  [Read More]

Well now we're into Star Trek: Bridge Commander territory. I always thought about a game like that in the Star Wars universe, but I thought the pace would be too slow for most people. However, if you had to manage other ships and fighter squadrons, s...  [Read More]

Your average Mon Cal, even the improved versions, are not themselves a counter to an SSD. Truthfully, bombers are the big counter. Everything else in the rebel fleet is just there to clear a path for them....  [Read More]

B-wings are SSD killers. A combo of enough B-wings with Home One will spell doom for an SSD. That was the whole theme of the Balance of Power expansion for X-wing vs. Tie Figther....  [Read More]
