I've.... no idea. o.O I still remember that my trainers worked fine. Huh. I did have to open the game and then alt-tab out of it, though... Why doesn't alt-tab work for you? <.<...  [Read More]

Sorry, I never played with patch 1.1. :X Though you might want to keep trying with the other trainers... Sometimes it took some tricks to make them work. Also, make sure to run both the trainers and TPM in compatibility mode and as an administrator b...  [Read More]

I know that several trainers existed at one point for this game, because I used them, but I'm not sure where I filed them away. And even if I could find them, my TPM CD got broken a while ago, so I wouldn't be able to test them on something that isn'...  [Read More]

(Missed this topic on my cyclical checking of these forums.) I don't actually see any stories here. The descriptions could use some work in terms of originality and the prose needs cleaning up. None of it's terrible from a 'written by a 14-17 year o...  [Read More]

I've had the same one for over a decade, so has Red. Oooooh - we have lots more buttons than last time I used the interface (like two years ago). Haha, in fairness, as of four-ish years ago I've been known elsewhere on the Internets as t...  [Read More]

I think you need to clarify further, BD. How and in what way were you being flippant? Be specific, and cite your sources. ;)...  [Read More]

Meh. XWA and Aresen are slow-paced by necessity. For example, I read them regularly, but 'regularly' can mean monthly or weekly if there's an active topic. Life gets in the way. And since there's no ultra-active community "necroposting" doe...  [Read More]

You put this in the wrong forum. Cantina is in XWA. Movin' as soon as I post this. I don't remember exactly how I wanted Cantina to end. I have a ton of notes somewhere. Life just ate me up and never got around to spitting me out again. Maybe, if mo...  [Read More]

That's not right. It was hard, yes, but even a kid could pass that part. And a review should be about the whole game, not two and a half levels. Besides, maybe those plataforms were meant to be hard. Indeed. Everytime I remember the cut material (...  [Read More]

I have to say I don't know why that puzzle got so much jip from the critics, and you're entirely right. It's not fair to judge the whole game due to a single jump sequence being a bitch to complete if you havent had a lot of practice. Well, because...  [Read More]

To me, that was the worst part of the game. Nowadays I can pass that part easily, but back then it was (somehow) hard as hell. One of the devs who used to post here - Zanzibar, IIRC - told us that the game got bad reviews overall because of that puz...  [Read More]

Man, it's been so long I hardly remember. I loved most of it, frankly. Espa is the level I remember most, though, besides the first level (because I played the demo a trillion times). I also really liked the swamp creatures running about. Least fa...  [Read More]

((If it's a reboot, call it something else. Srsly. Else why even do it in this forum? :P It's not the Cantina if no one's involved but one person, unless that one person is Deac. I know we're not all about copyright law here, but still, as the only...  [Read More]

(Somehow missed this thread.) Huh. I honestly don't know this one. Call me a softie, but I never tried to continue with the game after mercilessly slaughtering everything on Tatooine. I always reloaded. (Doesn't mean I didn't do it at all, though....  [Read More]

It's good that most pcs aren't region specific with compatible games. So if owning a PAL version doesn't bother you, there's plenty around. ^_^ But then, I'm not sure what a non-gaming computer is. :\ I'm pretty sure ANY computer would run the game...  [Read More]

*interesting ;) I actually do have a rough plan for ending these RPG stories if enough people sign on to it. We'd have a group re-read of the RPGs, with a separate commentary thread for us all to post in. This would also act as a nonsensical get-...  [Read More]
