A fond farewell to the Lucasarts Development team. I think it's apt that I post in the Classic gaming section as my favorites were all developed in the mid to late 90s. My favorite game will always be Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight. Granted it hasn't...  [Read More]

I thought I would add to this, albeit a little late but still! Fired up this game again after learning how to get it running on Windows 7 x64. I forgot how much fun it was. A few graphical glitches here and there (as well as no fog) however hopefull...  [Read More]

I hope this is relevant or at least helps some people out who are trying to run TPM on a new 64-bit operating system. First, install the game on a 32-bit OS [I installed Win 98 on VMWare Player]. When completed, copy the entire contents of the game...  [Read More]

I see you don't have shadows. I can't have them either, nor laser/blaster marks. Hope to find a way to activate them... Yeah - I've tried everything to sort them but it seems impossible on Windows 7. To be fair I have a 'retro' system I occasionally...  [Read More]

I loved Mos Espa - it always seemed like there was so much to do and so many ways to do it. I had a different experience every time I played it. I always remember Tomo's mother (the boy kidnapped by Captian Neg) sinking into the ground any time I sp...  [Read More]

Thanks Bulsey, it seems to work now, although I have only tested the main menu and not the actual game. Thanks anyways! EDIT: I tried the game out. Apart from some slightly low quality text on the pause menu small print the game runs flawlessly, wi...  [Read More]

Ok, I've moved to Windows 7 and now TPM runs at 4:3, even with a 1024x768 resolution. If anyone knows how to fix this issue, I'll be greatly appreciated. 1024x768 is 4:3 though? I'm still trying to figure out how to replace shadows and blaster mar...  [Read More]

Hi all. Maybe a bit of a late reply. It you get a reply saying the software is not designed for the OS it is most likely because your version of Win 7 is 64 bit. I stupidly overlooked this thread (duh) and have posted a workaround in the 'Having tr...  [Read More]
I'd like to see Jedi Knight/Mysteries of the Sith remade. On the following condition: Gameplay remains unchanged. I mean the speeds, buttons, etc. be the same as the original Win95 versions. - Otherwise everything else can be modernized (well, I s...  [Read More]
This thread seems to be dead... I would absolutely love Lucasarts to remake the dark forces / Jedi Knight series. My personal favourite was Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight (and the Mysteries of the Sith expansion). Two games I can still play all the wa...  [Read More]
