Admittedly, TSL wasn't as bad as I make it sound - I liked it. But you have no real choices throughout the game, and the Light Side/Dark Side choice not only is completely insigificant, but makes no sense. Malachor V should be destroyed whether you'r...  [Read More]

You gotta admit, though, Emperor, TSL's ending was both crap and felt rushed. You crash-land, everyone seems to get flung about a hundred klicks across Malachor's surface, and then you do something with Mira and the Remote, only one of which is signi...  [Read More]

Basically, she's incredibly obnoxious and makes no real sense. She basically exists to lambaste you for the purpose of lambasting you, then being a complete hypocrite. Apparently, that makes her deep. I don't really get the appeal....  [Read More]

I have to disagree with TSL being a superior game. Maybe if it had been properly finished, it would be, but it wasn't, so it isn't. I like Arcanum because of the feel of it. It's got a fantastic setting, with the rivalry between Magic and Technology...  [Read More]

Planescape: Torment is good for what you're looking for. Other good ones are Fallout & Fallout II, The Exile/Avernum series by Spiderweb Software, Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura, and Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines....  [Read More]

Well, Terra has a Slave Crown at the beginning of Final Fantasy VI. I don't recall any endless grinding, though, and the Slave Crown is not touched upon all that much. As for getting Crystals, I have no idea. Maybe you're thinking of Seiken Densetsu...  [Read More]

It's the best one, and it doesn't matter which one you start with, the interconnected plots are so minimal, I could spit and disrupt all the connections. The connections are thus - There is a character named Cid. There is probably an Airship. Som...  [Read More]

It really doesn't matter. If I were you, I'd start with Final Fantasy 6. However, I'm an old fogey. Seven is considered the best by just about everyone except me. Four is pretty good. Eight and ten are decent. Nine I never actually played, but I've h...  [Read More]

I really like your character, Quist. You too, Archon. Quist, no real questions or anything. Archon, About this Holy Icon, what does it look like? What are it's dimensions, and what makes it Holy? Also, to be honest, you're probably actually the ON...  [Read More]

Sorry. I've been fairly frustrated with RPs recently, given that every one I've tried to create has either died without a single post, croaked halfway to my character goal, or made three pages and then keeled over of a massive heart attack. I took th...  [Read More]

You know what? I think this RP would be better off without you, Keno. By the way, your efforts to enlighten me have failed, as you have alerted me to things I already knew. Now, you seem to be assuming this is going to be a traditional RP, with lots...  [Read More]

Generally, the idea tends to be "When in Rome, do as the Romans do." Not to toot my own horn, but you'll notice William actually has a profession that is not just likely, but common, and skills that are centered on that profession. I have a...  [Read More]

Yeaaah. That's not condescending. You may want to look up the definition of the word. I'm aware your character is a Knight Hospitaller. I have a little issue having that slide down, especially considering your character logically left Leipzig at 14...  [Read More]
