Visas was just the coolest all around, from dress to voice to being the most awesome sith since Revan. You can't really judge her appearance because you don't really see much of her... But my exile never fails to go for her and piss handmaiden off ;...  [Read More]

I'd suggest putting each mod in a different folder within the zip you're going to make. Some of us would like certain elements but rather leave out others. So basically I'm saying an exe installer would be a bad idea....  [Read More]

No and no. For one, you'd have to somehow stop the decay of chromosome ends during mitosis. Each time a new cell is formed, the DNA is less perfect than it was before. Nothing here on earth is perfect, not even DNA replication. Eventually, it become...  [Read More]

Revolution is never a best-case scenario.... The best case is obviously that all terrorists and radical regimes renounce their ways, instate peaceful democracies, and lay down arms and differences. That's a given. That said, I think he meant "t...  [Read More]

EDIT: Bush also was witnessed to a Happy Birthday song in his honor on July 4th, 2005, another instance of Copyright infrignment. The day we impeach a president because someone sang Happy Birthday in his presence is the day I renounce all ties to Am...  [Read More]

This is still a strawman. I never brought up arranged marriage, sir. You did. It seems to me that you are determined to view abduction and imprisonment (slavery) as "arranged marriage" although I've raised several points to argue to the con...  [Read More]

You're assuming that this is an arranged marriage. I am not. Your introduction of arranged marriage is a strawman in regards to this discussion. In arranged marriage, the daughter had no say in who she married. Very much like the circumstances here....  [Read More]

I think you may be operating on the assumption that there's some sort of time limit in effect. At no point does the Bible mention consent. After the man has gone to her "as a husband" he can set he free, but only if he is unhappy with her....  [Read More]

I think that referring to women as "spoils" and "plunder" is a pretty clear indication of what transpires. It may be that I've read too many histories of the Norse, but it would seem that the translation is universal. And I would...  [Read More]

Zechariah 14:1-2 You're taking that WAAAY out of context. (New American Bible, Zechariah 14:1-2) A day of the LORD is coming when your plunder will be divided among you. I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city wil...  [Read More]

I don't have time to reply to the post in the "atheist" thread, so I'll work with this one for you to chew on til I get home ;) There is no scientific evidence for the existence of anything resembling a soul. It is strictly a religious dev...  [Read More]

What if you're wrong? If proven wrong I will (and have) change my believe and subsequently wish that everyone else would adopt my newfound position. Either way, the question was, do I think people should believe in evolution even if their religious...  [Read More]

Would you still believe in it if the Catholic Church was not ok with it? In that case I would not believe in it, because it would be scientifically unsound. Should members of other churches believe in it even if their spiritual leaders don't? I do...  [Read More]
