Cd's dont get bad sectors, if you mean that its become scratched, try recovery software such asCdr-diagnostic (http://www.arrowkey.com/) or one of its free/shareware alternatives....  [Read More]

Pokerdan: you need to specify where ft is installed in the options (which is usually c\throttle). Vdmsound also has to be installed on the same drive as q+e. Try running throttle.exe manually, if it doesnt run then the problems with your ft installa...  [Read More]

That heap error message cant be got rid of by allocating more or applying any other memory tricks, many have tried, many have failed. Like I said I dont think that error affects anything at all or is really due to memory issues, rather its a symptom...  [Read More]

As this is the help forum I presume your asking for a fix? The heap error message is a symptom, not a cause of the real problem: namely that the floppy scumm executable doesnt handle the song properely. Isnt a vdmsound/XP problem, it`ll do it on a 9...  [Read More]
