With Star Wars: The Old Republic officially in full swing now, we're going to be starting a weekly article on StarWarsMMO.net in which we feature screenshots taken by you fans titled "Alderaan News Holopics". This is one of the places you can submit a screenshot for use in the article, simply leave a screenshot with a caption or blurb describing the shot and we'll stick it in next week's article. Some quick tips for taking screenshots...

- Hit Alt + Z in the game before you hit Prt Scrn to hide the UI and take a much cleaner shot
- Screenshots taken via the Prt Scrn button on the keyboard are automatically stored in a SWTOR folder in your "My Documents" folder
- You can use the mouse wheel to zoom in all the way and get shots from your characters POV
- Holding the left click on the mouse allows you to freely rotate the camera for different angles
- Explore, explore, explore there is a lot of scenery in the galaxy!

This doesn't seem to be true for me. My holocam pictures go there however, but they are taken from my char's POV.

correction, it works, user error on my part

It's dumping JPGs in Documents\Star Wars - The Old Republic\Screenshots\ for me. I don't recall having to enable it in the preferences or anything. Maybe check the key bindings page and make sure it hasn't been disabled or assigned to another key.

It works! I was in the habit of holding alt when i hit print screen (this captures the active window only) and that will prevent SWTOR from saving the image. Hitting prntscrn by itself automatically saves the image!

But this is actually a Republic base, and just a few minutes ago, this guy was surrounded by four Republic commandos. Even after defeating their boss, the guy just stands there. Creepy.

In the first pick, Kage soloed the Taris world boss while Miqui (Jasra) and I tried desperately not to get one-shot more than a few dozen times. :D And he got the boss, too!

In the second, the Kintan kings are no match for Jolee and Qyzen.

Nah, actually one guy I knew who was deceptively intelligent had this habit of just standing and staring off blankly into space. That or standing in some parking lot at 10:30PM just picking his nose. Go figure. We have our quirks, that was his. He taught me how to make a dry ice bomb.
