Do you know how often I see that? As I told Darth back when I first started, I spend an average of 30 hours a week writing, and part of that time when I'm on the computer reading for the column. Right now I am spending an average of eight hours a we...  [Read More]

I'm thinking that it is quite fortunate the Jedi monastery has such well-connected members to facilitate addressing important matters such as this weaponized Iridian plague. Very fortunate indeed. One thing the original order IMO had was such conne...  [Read More]

I love it when people actually get things done in spite of politics. :) Sienna's a very fun character. The scene with Holani and the director reminds me a bit of Clancy's Clear and Present Danger (if I have the right book title--the one where he fin...  [Read More]

Investigations Sienna walked toward the front desk, watching the guard watch her. Ever since she was sixteen, she had noticed that the male eye followed her like a tracking sensor if she was close enough to really see. Even the other Apprentices had...  [Read More]

As I tell everyone, there are three ways you get reviewed. One is to be next up in the queue starting from the bottom. Second is I can review it, send you a copy and post it when we get there. The last is I review it, save a copy, then give you a blo...  [Read More]

Heh, the hot and cold grenades. I had a slight problem with that in the game, too. Iced acid is still too acidic to walk on. It doesn't magically stop reacting just because it's frozen. However, it's just a game. :) I didn't feel comfortable with it...  [Read More]

This seemed strange to me. IIRC Ajunta Pall's sword in the game was double-bladed. I reviewed the sword's description in post #116 and you don't indicate the sword is double-bladed. Not that big of a deal but I was trying to figure out how Uthar pull...  [Read More]

Acceptance I jogged back to the Academy entrance. The cool air felt electric, and as I ran up the ramp into the central chamber, I understood why. Master Uthar stood in the center of the room, surrounded by the dozen or so students. Kneeling at his...  [Read More]
