I'm not sure it's worth attempting to discuss this rationally, as religion and rationality are mutually exclusive in my view, but I might as well try. The way I see it, it's a vicious circle, the Bible is true rather than other religious texts becaus...  [Read More]

I think that, from reading rccar's first post, that he doesn't really understand what 'tolerance' is. As has been pointed out (and far more eloquently than I ever could), one can not be tolerant of someone's enforcement of their beliefs on another, o...  [Read More]

I'm not clear if you are saying we are being too PRO america by only mentioning their troops, or too ANTI by blaming their troops for everything. :) Odds are quite high that the US will pull out most of its troops before the job is fully done and lea...  [Read More]

Why is everyone talking as if only the US has troops in Iraq? This is based purely on news broadcasts, but the feeling comes over that the American troops are less welcome than the British troops, and as the wording of the question clearly states 'Un...  [Read More]

The falling damage thing is really useful, I'd recommend binding protect to a key, rather than using 'use force', in case you fall off something (or are pushed, hehe...). I didn't think it protected against dark force, though, except being thrown off...  [Read More]

uh, the name is blank, and the manufacturer is n/a. I checked, and it won't run the other games I mentioned before, which is weird, because all I've done to it since last playing is reinstall windows. All the driver files appear to be version 5.somet...  [Read More]

I installed JA on my laptop, because we're going for a week's holiday and I want something to do, but it won't run without 3D hardware. Is there a way to make it run, as I have played other Q3Arena games on it just fine. Some kind of option to force...  [Read More]

I've found that error relates to a dodgy pk3 file. You'll have to uninstall them one by one until it works again. Oh, and Igor, obviously don't uninstall MBII, or it definitely won't work....  [Read More]

Heh, yeah, I have enough wits about me to check my cookie settings. The thing is, other sites store my login, I only have to log in here. It seems to log me out at random. This time, I was logged in, but last time I had to log in. I'll probably have...  [Read More]
OK, I checked my load times on JO (Uses pretty much the same graphics engine, right?), and here are the results: High-quality | 1:05 0:07 Normal | 0:33 0:07 Fast | 0:27 0:06 Fastest | 0:26 0:07? The test was the same as mentioned in the other thread...  [Read More]

That is of course assuming that you have melee enabled. Iknowkungfu in single player is really a kind of mix of several commands, cg_debugmelee being one of them. This cvar also enables wall-clinging, as opposed to a quick rebound. Without melee, tha...  [Read More]

That's a good point, but does it apply to America? America doesn't have a history, at least not much of one, definitly not a tribal history. By the way, I like your theory about God telling Moses about creation how it really happened, and Moses, not...  [Read More]

I'm sort of an agnostic leaning towards atheism, so I am probably biased, but I find it hard to believe that anyone outside of the clergy and Religious zealots/fanatics take the book of Genesis as anything more literal than a metaphor. 2/3rds of the...  [Read More]

That is good. I don't get this bit, though: 'Little Johnny should be learning how to read, not how to kill cops'. He's reffering to an M-rated game, and in America that's 17+, right? Is 'Little Johnny' some kind of mental deficient? If so, who gave h...  [Read More]

Reading this thread, it seems apparent that slider cares almost as little for the honor players as he does for 'real' players. The only argument I can think of for not reversing the dimension things is that the admins enjoy abusing new players, and w...  [Read More]
