Last night I died within 6 seconds coming out of a cut scene in a story quest line boss on Quesh.Yes, that is a seriously flawed part of the game. Not only for the cover classes, but my Juggernaut had lots of issues with it as well as he needs 10m+ r...  [Read More]

If you go Commando/Mercenary at level 22 you'll get a 60 sec stun that is quite handy for dealing with groups of elites/strongs. Stun the strongest, take out the weaker mobs, then fight the stunned mob one-on-one (or technically two-on-one, once you...  [Read More]

Apparently the Trooper mirror class Bounty Hunter has Grey DeLisle doing the female voice. I never play female chars, but that may very well tempt me to create a second BH at some point. I've playeg a bit of everything pretty much between beta and l...  [Read More]

This is where Warriors have a real problem in my experience, or at least Juggernauts. I can't speak to Marauders, but Juggernauts do not have the 60 second stun that every other class in the game seems to have. This puts them at a serious disadvantag...  [Read More]

I have first-hand experience of this exact scenario. I abandoned Biochem/Bioanalysis in the late 20s in favour of Cybertech/Scavenging, and thus was in the same boat of needing a swathe of level 1 mats to grind up Cybertech from 0. Missions are fine...  [Read More]

Missions are not an efficient (or cost effective) way to acquire gathering resources for grinding the appropriate crafting skill. The only missions you should be doing for gathering skills are the ones that net you the required additional generic com...  [Read More]

Once you get past the mid-30s it seems you stop getting slotted gear as story and side quest rewards, so I often take boxes instead of commendations now if that is the only choice. Still, they use the same random loot tables seemingly, so there's eve...  [Read More]

The XP thing was a guess, based on what I had seen with a mismatched level player pairing. As far as loot goes, I find the loot tables fairly crap, especially when solo. Fair enough in a group situation you should get a chance at looting whatever eq...  [Read More]
