You can't get camera's to follow people in MP. I'm pretty sure there is software out there that can tear apart a wmv file and export as a series of bmp's, it's a Google thing methinks....  [Read More]

Not too much, you will definately know a video is running but it won't kill FPS, it's more like an animmap just without any limits on number of frames....  [Read More]

You should use area-portalling even in MP just it can cause oddities on slower connections when the game doesn't update fast enough; you temporarily get the void effect through the portal when the door first opens....  [Read More]

Swinging doors? They use scripting to rotate them 90 degrees or there abouts. I think it's been covered before actually...try search, failing that me or another scripter will post exactly how...but please try search first....  [Read More]

It will probably show you shader image missing because you don't have an image to go with it however in this case you don't need an image to go with it so as long as you can cope with it, it's fine....  [Read More]

I tried to hunt it down for you but couldn't find it...there was a shader you could use that was posted for either EF or JO that was transparent but light blocking so you could place it in doorways and light would not leak through....  [Read More]
EF textures? A lot of them would need resizing because they aren't powers of 2 in width and height. Besides that just copying the textures over. Oh and for anyone who's worried about copyright, EF is a Raven game. Raven usually don't mind cross-game...  [Read More]

I've noticed sunext is far faster than entity suns as well, also for actual sun try deviance 1 samples 8 as sun doesn't usually deviate by 2 degrees....  [Read More]
