I think the reason I dislike Ao so much is because he has absolutely no motivation to do anything. He's a deus ex machina sort of god - he's not real in the same sense the others are, he's just a storytelling mechanism....  [Read More]

Well Palin is smarter than one of their only plausible candiates for 2012. I've talked to this man on the phone more than once and I would be surprise if he knew where Austin, Texas was. If Perry is one of their five or six plausible candidates the R...  [Read More]

Don't get me wrong. I'm not worried about whether or not a single person gets elected to office. However, I am annoyed that the Texas electoral votes which are supposed to represent Texas nationally do not actually represent Texans....  [Read More]

I did vote for the very reason that the video proposed. Still, that doesn't change the fact of what I said in my previous post. I was not represented when I could have easily been. Why not? Because that's the way it is. I am not happy with the stat...  [Read More]

The smallest amount of electoral votes a state has is 3. Washington D.C. has as many electoral votes as the smallest state does. As it stands with Texas' winner-takes-all rule: 1. I was not represented at all in the state's 34 electoral votes, whic...  [Read More]

Actually, people do still play Pong - but not the original Pong. It was a coin-operated arcade game. I have absolutely no doubt that there will be interest in playing the KotOR games 30 years from now, and that emulation will be able to handle it in...  [Read More]

I present to you how campaigning will go in a system where majority of votes wins the election. Campaigns will ONLY focus on New York and LA. Promises will be made to those two population centers. If you can get a vast majority from those two and th...  [Read More]

I'm aware of those arguments, but what I said still is true regardless of whether you think that federalism is a good idea or not. Those people in the smaller population states will vote for their interests, not necessarily what is best or most appro...  [Read More]

Tommycat makes a good point. Most of the low-population states vote Republican. If you make the individual votes from the larger population states count for the same as those with lower populations, Republicans lose. So we cannot allow that to happen...  [Read More]
