Some pretty valid points by both Anarch and Wedge. There really is no advantage in having your transports tag along with your assault force because the only thing that can happen to them is that they get destroyed. They have no value in combat. Perso...  [Read More]

I have to say i agree with making the rebels a weaker and hero dependent how long did the rebel troops last against stormys maybe 10 seconds? Even the commandoes in ROTJ got owned...You can see them lying dead on either side of the bunker. Poor bast...  [Read More]

IGN seems more complete and accurate than wooki but we wont really know until we play the game. I agree with Valter and Popcorn; the rebs are going to be and should be a hero driven faction; as they were in the movies. My only concern for the rebels...  [Read More]

Thanks for the info Torpid. Yes I would really like to see a clone wars era version come out. There is already a couple of the main ships models done. The boarding ability would be very apt considering a scene of clone marines was cut from ROTS; I th...  [Read More]

Time constraint cuts are pretty common in game developement... Actually, we added way more to FoC than was originally intended (the vast majority of the corruption system was added late in the project, and the story has more missions than originall...  [Read More]

>>The ISD should however, completely eclipse the Mon Cal in arnament and hull armour. Funny you should say that because, I think its in the game contants folder, but the ISD does have better armour than the MC; so this makes the disparity betw...  [Read More]

No the MC80 has 48 TLs and 20 Ions while the ISD 1 has 60 TL and 60 Ion. A more accurate reflection would be for the ships to have 1 weapon for every 10 they are supposed to have...with 6 Ions the ISD would be a true dealer of death and offset the sh...  [Read More]

I agree with jedi Jim. I hate having to tip toe around with an ISD. Windu, ur right an ISD should be able to take on a fleet of lesser ships and criminals getting their hands on the the best tech i disagree with but as Jim and I said, there needs to...  [Read More]

Well, you can't complain if you're lazy :-) i'm suprised that petro is as responsive to the community as it is. A snottier company would just say, "You have the xml, fix it yourself." I remember little about programming from my class and...  [Read More]

Thanks DA; this was also pointed out in another thread to me...I think they are cool the blastboats but expected them to be like corellian gunships...they were fighter size so it makes sense to use them as bombers...pretty quick bombers though! :) Lo...  [Read More]

Well, the consortium has to get it's technology from somewhere. It makes sense that the consortium would steal ships from the Rebel Alliance and Empire through piracy. I would imagine that Tyber, being an weapons dealer, would trade cash with Imperia...  [Read More]

True... Your right. I just think the whole expansion and story line will be great without needing to include uber weapons. I dont like them in general. All the EU stuff with superweapons really sucked. They are so unimaginative. Anyway enough about t...  [Read More]

Yes the upgrades cost a fortune as well. Some were like half a million credits. Its going to put an interesting slant on how to manage the faction even if it has huge income, they need to spend alot. Bribery is a really good ability; being able to nu...  [Read More]

Well done Petro. I may be critical about some things from time to time in EaW and prospectively about FoC but I always give credit where its due too and this expansion is seriously A-Grade. Its nothing new to say how ZC operates is innovative but to...  [Read More]
