I don't recall doing any such thing, but my memory might be failing me.I can't find it atm but I didn't go on an extensive search. It might have been a PM. I might have read something as an implication. Don't know right now. No mocking intended. Rea...  [Read More]

Perhaps you should encourage them to create LF accounts. We could cut out the middleman and I could debate with them directly :) I certainly appreciate your pastor's response to this. Unfortunately, I really hoping to hear your response. If I wanted...  [Read More]

Avoid using 'deluded' or any other terms describing someone's mental status, please, unless we're talking about mental illness, of course. It's an emotionally charged word and there are far better choices. @Achilles--I'm still working on the questio...  [Read More]

Just a quick post because I have a bunch of appts today, and I just wanted to ask a couple questions more than anything else. @Achilles--just because the article is 12 years old doesn't make it invalid. It's been quoted by a good number of other art...  [Read More]

Sometimes *too* set in stone, in my opinion. Simple morality is completely inflexible in its "tenants" and much harder to use to justify things that violate them. There is no way you can say murder is moral, for instance. Religion, however...  [Read More]

Seeing as this is serious political (and cool) stuff, I'm moving it to Kavar's Corner. Enjoy the discussion! Yep, my only real Scottish 'knowledge' is what Braveheart had, plus the fact that James VI became James I of England too. What's happening...  [Read More]

Jimbo's having fun with NWN, and I've been enjoying NWN2 very much--almost as much as K1 and 2 (and that's only because I _love_ the SW universe). Jimbo got the World Editor guide for NWN2, which helps with the modding....  [Read More]

Unmodded unless it's a critical fix or to get rid of those dog-ugly bodies in Morrowind. :) I wouldn't object to reskins, but I wouldn't want to use a mod that changes gameplay until I've played it a few times to know how the game is supposed to go....  [Read More]

The Greeks and Romans had lots of Goddesses, and they nonetheless treated women as inferior to men for the most part. It's only been in the last 30 years or so that women have achieved something remotely close to equality, and we've got a long way to...  [Read More]

I find the equality of women thing extremely hard to swallow, along with the glowing belief that Egyptians were allegedly enlightened about slavery. Given the general widespread view of women as second-class citizens and relatively common presence of...  [Read More]

Oh yeah, finished the DMP offices. Yukk. Those things are so ugly they deserve to be shot. Or axed in my case. I've finished up with VV, Ash, and so forth, and have to head to the theater for Mr. Gargoyle and then the latest mansion. I'm sure I'll se...  [Read More]
