Yes, now that I've downloaded it, I concur that is is totally awesome. One thing, though... And may this be the least of your troubles... The name sucks....  [Read More]

Wouldn't they know exactly what game that's from, considering the fact you've just mentioned its name a couple of times? Seriously though, they're good stars, but I don't see the big deal....  [Read More]

To start with, I'd need a DVD. I'm sure there must be low-quality versions of the things floating around the internet, but I'm not going to waste precious hours of net-time downloaing huge files when I could just put the thing on my list of Things To...  [Read More]

When I first read the book I was thirteen, so I imagined Zaphod as Jim Carey (it seems they were trying to cast him for the movie, acually, which is rather strange, since he's American), and Arthur as Hugh Grant. My knowledge of English actors was qu...  [Read More]

Huh. So that's Marvin. I've always wondered what the show looked like... I feel it's rather poor-looking, avtually. The book deserves much better, anyway. And I've always thought your avatar was from some cheap, obscure seventies Transormers-like sho...  [Read More]

First of all, LogicDeLuxe, amazing work. Really. I can't properly express my gratitude. Likewise Espiox, but you say he isn't responding, so I doubt he'll see this. I've played through the game and it works great. Everything the SE should have been....  [Read More]

In case anyone's still wondering, the frame rate (if I remember correctly) is 15. The sound is indeed longer than the video, so just insert blank frames as necessary to get what plays beyond the end of the video. There are probably easier ways, but...  [Read More]

First of all, John_Doe, thanks so much! Really, I am at a loss for words. Elbiolin, judging by what happens with stump3c.snm, the WAV file is longer than the actual video. If I recall correctly from the game, the video ends, and the sound plays a bi...  [Read More]

Thank you for replying, but it seems the videos on the site suffer from the same issues I encontered trying to encode my own. Again, John Doe, or any of you guys who can program, could you possibly make something that extracts the individual frames...  [Read More]

Well, naturally, not a day goes by and I find something to complain about... Xvid seems to die when I try to use it, the video doesn't start playing. Any other codec I try (Alpary lossless, Huffyuv, uncompressed AVI) seems to not only drop frames (I...  [Read More]

So. Is there anything that can play (or, better yet, convert) Grim cutscenes? They show a white screen for me in Residual, both with software rendering and without, and Benny's Smush player won't play them (but then it's not supposed to). I assume t...  [Read More]
