Played the game. Ahh newtonian space flight. With guns and missiles. Excellent. Now if only they let you fly the thunderbolt fighter. That would be sweet....  [Read More]

I'd say rely more on attack than deflecting shots. Plus some force powers. I just charge into groups of storm troopers(when i played ja sp). I do see where you're coming from though. They really screwed up the movement speed of saber combat on severa...  [Read More]

must... fly... xwing! Sorry had to get that out. I don't care about the rest of the game as long as I get to fly an xwing and lay waste to the surrounding territory I'd be happy...  [Read More]
What made JO different is that TACTICS actually worked and skill and a sense of timing came into play. In JA sp when i try to come up with tactics to beat enemies they ussually don't work because your opponent uses the same basic moves and beat you t...  [Read More]
Personally I think JO was the better game. I got many reasons for this statement. First, it was a challenge. JO took me quite a few days out of my life to finish. JA took 1 day to beat. Im talking about single player here. Plus I think a game should...  [Read More]

Fair enough Marker0077. But if this thread is about ALL coding issues why call it new animations in the first place. Seems to me you'd be better off spliting things up like bug fixes, new animations, and basic code changes. Otherwise you'd be having...  [Read More]

um, quick question for people on this thread. Has anyone actually made any new animations for JA? If so maybe you should post what you've actually done and get some feedback. Otherwise why talk about it if you have nothing done anyways?...  [Read More]

one more idea of mine. In a lot of the star wars books theres this idea of giving yourself completely over to the force, opening the floodgates if you will, and becoming very powerful. Basically I propose having this power in the game to give both je...  [Read More]

any who my two cents for the day are as follows: make the power yoda used in AotC( reflecting dooku's force lighting) , I'll call is force reflect, usuable by making it so any lighting or drain shot at the player using it will have that lighting draw...  [Read More]

Another thing I thought of is putting some kind of radar display or something, to represent a jedi's ability to sense opponents. This ability would have a latent mode where the display is vague and blurry and an active mode which you use force energy...  [Read More]

I wouldn't get rid of the distinction between light and dark sides. It just doesn't fit that a jedi could use sith lightning and excuse it because he was "justified". As for mind trick powers, I think lightside should concetrate on ones tha...  [Read More]

How about absorbing energy blasts( ala Vader v Solo in ESB) or some mind trick powers that let you put decoys or illusions up(simple ones mind you, like the thing in Mysteries of the Sith)...  [Read More]

Is it possible to slow down the overall speed of movement? I was wondering if there is a setting to slow down how a person on screen attacks(not just how fast you run). On a brainstorming note I was thinking including a dual phase saber might be a go...  [Read More]

The only problems i would see with the whole "character interlock" idea are that: a) what happens when you have more than two people fighting? b)what happens when one player wants to run away or leave melee range?...  [Read More]

I just want to clarify the point I made earlier. When I talk about Kendo "stances" I talking about changing the way you point the weapon for an immediate tactical purpose(i.e.- lure your opponent to attack, get ready to make a powerful stri...  [Read More]

Ok here's my two cents. Offensively speaking I think the real problem is the saber "styles" should be based off kendo movements rather more than spinny, flashy moves. You see in kendo you have different which each serve a tactical purpose....  [Read More]
