Nice work capturing the look and feel of Greek architecture, but that long hallway could do with some widening (and maybe some gussying up) to avoid a bottleneck.

Thanks guys.

Eldritch-- Agreed about the long hallway. I took out every other support column, so it seems much more spacious now, and you can actually SEE the doorways leading off the sides. Much better.

Great textures, you own work? Only one I am not too sure about is the one running horizontally on the top two pics, white with black bits, those black bits seem too strong somehow? I don't tend to see much marble though (cept in the kitchen), so maybe its just me...

This is the kind of map I'd love to see done amazingly, and you're just the man :)

This looks so nice. Where did you find the column textures (for the main, ribbed section?)

I agree with Kengo on some of the contrast in the marble textures (the beige ones with the black veins). May be a bit too strong.

Awesome stuff as always, Wedge.

Yup. I did indeed.

(I took a base marble texture and used it as a background in photoshop. Then I created a series of gradiated [is that a word?] lines that look like inverted half-cylinders cut into the surface, as a second layer, with the space between em transparent. Then I copied the background onto the third layer, and made it 50% trans. Yay me.)

Okay, I'll see if I can't dull down the tannish marble, or at least decrease the contrast there.

In other news...I think the map's done.

Yup. I did indeed. Very cool work on the textures, thanks for the info.

Man, is it just me or do you work *fast*. You continue to make difficult mapping look easy, Wedge. Congratulations and looking forward to playing it.

It seems to me to be the strongest characteristic of NRG - to make amazing looking maps very fast. They must have evolved to that or they have only taken in such rare people who can accomplish that.

What I just said certainly applies to this map also, that's for sure.
