Doctor Shaft, I agreed with you all the way up until the last paragraph. Auto or manual blocking aside.. the potency of blocking is scarcly adequate for this game. In SP, (where blocking is the best), the fact still remains that givin the right situa...  [Read More]

Not sure if this has been said or not.. there is manual blocking in JKII with console commands. All they do is when you press the button you assign to block, you cannot attack and you use the same ol' auto blocking. Its the same as just leaving auto...  [Read More]

Oops! I thought everyone was on the same page... when I said demo I didn't mean like a downloable alpha game like that leaked DoomIII game. I mean the demonstration movie they showed in the press conference. I'm almost positive it must have been just...  [Read More]

This place (http://www.gamesdomain.com/gdreview/depart/apr03/jedi.html) said that there was a demo of JKIII shown at a Madison, Wisconson press conference. If the peeps at Raven browse this forum, would it be at all possible to release this demo some...  [Read More]

Both will be equally important to me. I want to have a great SP experience, but I also want to jump online and share it with other peeps. I think what's going to count in this game is making SP and MP the same game. A challenge I really hope Raven is...  [Read More]
Originally posted by Prime But you can block red stance. If you are in red stance you can easily block a red swing. Even yellow can block it to some extent. I'll have to look up how to make an avi movie of SP, because if you use yellow, you can no...  [Read More]
I suppose "slow down" is the wrong word for it. In SP, my big complaints were how the enemy AI's animations didn't always start animating until it was already too late for defense. The enemy's saber animations were extremely jerky, causing...  [Read More]
Originally posted by Necrosis I think saber battles need to be FASTER NOT SLOWER. One of the biggest problems with the saber battles online was that they were all SO repetitve. Every game was DFA after DFA or uppercut after uppercut. Got skill? I w...  [Read More]
you may have seen this word from Raven in an interview about JKIII.. "The saber system is enhanced; it's basically the same as the Jedi Knight 2 engine, but we've added new moves and enhancements. We've tried to make a lot of the game friendlie...  [Read More]
Originally posted by Prime I agree with what your saying about MP and SP fighting, and they should be quite similar. However, there are lots of issues with MP saber fighting (like lag and so on) that you don't have to worry about in SP. I'd like MP...  [Read More]
o_o I don't want slow mo fights. If "slow the game down" being in caps provided too much contrast and moved your eyes away from "Slow it down by micro amounts", I'm sorry. Slow motion fights would not be.... good. If it were me, I...  [Read More]
JKIII's announcment made me a happy happy gamer. But when I saw some of the caps, I was more frightened than ever before. The addition of supported double saber and duel sabers is nice..... but I FEAR more than anything else that raven will just make...  [Read More]

in FFA.. if your saber is down you deserved to get killed. In a duel you can't exactly spawn camp, and in most cases the spawn points are far enough away from eachother where you have the time to collect yourself. Bacon00... your right when you say t...  [Read More]

Holy crap there's actually contraversy about this game? Is that even possible? In JO I had two force powers I used, push and heal. Because when I gripped I got pushed into my ass.. lightning wasn't fast enough and drained your force pool pretty quick...  [Read More]
