Okay, I got the demo running fine (sweet) but I notice that the cinematic is not shown (because I don't open through the exe file I presume). Will this be changed?...  [Read More]

Will the Dark Forces TC be available for Macs? I hate it when people decide to include installers and crap which doesn't work for me :( Also, will it be a seperate program, or just replace files in JK2? (requiring two installations of JK2 I presume)...  [Read More]

LOL, I run Jedi Knight II on High geometry, Very High textures, lighting and crap (but no anti-aliasing :() on my ATI-Rage 128 (that's an 8mb graphics card for the uneducated). The higher you put the settings in JK2 the better it runs. But I can't f...  [Read More]

I thought that as well, but unfortunately that's not it, starting a new game gets the same result =( Character holds the gun fine when crouching, only standing/walking is it a problem. Can't figure out why, as I've changed nothing but the skin....  [Read More]
I've been working a little on a skin, and I've tried to import it into single-player, however I've encountered one problem; the character holds weapons between their legs! The rough steps I've gone through are: - Create multiplayer skin (works fine)...  [Read More]

Okay, one other question; what is the best way to do bump-mapping on a character? I think I investigated before attempting to get a normal-mapping style effect on a skin and didn't have much luck; is there any recommended way to make a surface on a s...  [Read More]

Right, so far I've made a skin, and have applied a shader to one of it's textures. However, what I'd now like to do is apply an additional layer which is blended with the lighting on the skin. It's a difficult one to explain, so let's suppose: - My...  [Read More]
