The most unbalanced aspect of both games is being able to stand completely still and spam Force Waves destroying every enemy on screen long before running out of VP or FP. So a ranged/melee combo is not a balance issue. Really. Not a balance issue h...  [Read More]

Perhaps, but it would still be the choice of the player. Sometimes you have to take a penalty to get an edge elsewhere. But if the penalty is too great, would you even consider using it? You might try it out for one or two fights and realize it's no...  [Read More]

Sure it is, but what good is an option if people don't use it? Even in Single player. If I find it worthless to use x weapon or x skill or x anything, I won't. With options like these, we could just forget about single saber wielders....  [Read More]

Oh yeah, it is. The disadvantage of using blasters as a Jedi instead of lightsabers is mainly the blaster bolt deflection capabilities. In TSL, the blasters were heavily improved in attack power, thus that fact became more obvious. It might not be...  [Read More]

I think it was only "transformed" into a tank destroyer in SWGB, due to the fact that they didn't have anything else and the AT-ST did destroy another one in RotJ. However, that thing is obviously anti-infantry, at least as its main purpos...  [Read More]

I'm less bothered by AT-ST taking 36 missile hits then plex soldiers taking a nice amount of AT-ST fire and get out unscathe. Maybe 36 is a bit much, but I don't think Rocket troopers should be the only solution against enemy vehicles. It seems th...  [Read More]

I try to get a good handle of the two civs before trying online. I usually get pretty good in single player before even trying online. Some people might say that SP experience is worth nothing in the MP realm, but they're wrong :p I played a lot of...  [Read More]

I think cheats are fun when they bring in something more to the game. Like fergie's cobra car for example. If it's simply a god mode or unlimited ammo, it's just boring....  [Read More]

Like which ones? I regret buying the General Grievous Chase set; it ain't worth 20$ :disaprove I can't be specific, but a lot of sets are made of one big block and maybe 2 figurines. I'm exaggerating but you know what I mean. EDIT: Yay! Post number...  [Read More]

Exactly! I was even toying with the idea of the single blade that can transform with a click to the staff, much like Darth Maul in Episode I. I would very much like to be able to do this. However this may create a problem with crystals and upgrades....  [Read More]

If it's like Rome:Total War, an Interdictor will have plenty of uses. When your forces started retreating in R:TW, the victor had the choice to massacre what remains or just let them go. Usually, if you didn't have cavalry anymore, you couldn't reall...  [Read More]

of course the harcore gamer will, like i said earlier, the casual gamer may have no knowledge whatsoever of D20 or any of the goings on behind the scenes of KOTOR combat, they simply hire kotor off the shelves and play it. When it gets to a battle th...  [Read More]

Because they're such great games in all other aspects, the story and characters give the player motivation to continue playing, and this is the continued reason for their success. I can assure you, gamers do NOT play kotor for its combat. Exactly, s...  [Read More]
