Or maybe they took the easy way out and simply removed the "Get behind him!" line from the game. :D...  [Read More]

We know that in JA your player-character has spoken dialogue. They probably just repeat the same lines, but have a female voice actor read 'em if your character is female. But will this affect NPCs in any way? In JK2 when you fought stormtroopers as...  [Read More]

Hey guys!!! I haven't posted in ages, and as a result I guess, I've lost all my points!! :( I've been busy, moving from Kansas to Delaware for college, etc. I have been keeping up with JA, however. I've seen the second trailer, and I'm pretty sure...  [Read More]

Yes, but Hitman didn't just tack on the body physics like the latest Unreal games or Raven Shield or Postal 2 did. With Hitman, the physics were written in with the Glacier engine from the very beginning....  [Read More]

Stormhammer, SOF2 did not have ragdoll physics (UT2003 was the first game to), but rather, the same old precanned death animations that we all know and are getting sick of. What SOF2 did was a rather crude premature version of ragdoll -- it simply b...  [Read More]

Actually, in a way, MOHAA's iteration of the Q3 engine was better than JK2's and SOF2's .... in MOHAA, the facial animation was more realistic, and all the characters had round fingers. In JK2 and SOF2, fingers were more like long, articulated rectan...  [Read More]

I don't see dismemberment posing any problems. Even on the skeleton simulation, you could remove his limbs! :D We also know that JA will have many more dismemberment locations. Besides, in JK2, your saber would dismember a guy, and then he would beg...  [Read More]

Raven Shield's ragdoll physics did have some problems -- like the guy bent over backwards, or an enemy's legs would be doing "the splits" as his body stood up straight, even while dead, or a dead enemy would lay in his back with one leg sti...  [Read More]

Ragdoll physics have been confirmed, though they might not be as advanced as those seen in, say, Deus Ex: Invisible War or Max Payne 2. But they'll be up to at least Raven Shield or UT2003 standards. :)...  [Read More]

Episode II was practically a bloodbath!!! In the droid factory sequence, Anakin was butchering those Geonosians! If you watch the scene in slow motion, you can see several decapitations, at least one is bisected (cut down the middle, head to groin),...  [Read More]

I found that ramping up or down difficulty level didn't affect the enemy's health, it mainly just made their hits do more damage to you. I might be wrong, of course.... There've been times when it took multiple headshots to kill enemies though, and...  [Read More]

The developers might say something like, "If you make your enemies die with one shot, that would be too realistic, and the game would be less fun." But on the other hand, having the slice or blast the hell out of every single enemy isn't r...  [Read More]

I'm hoping the damage model is improved this time around. It was perfect for the Reborn and Dark Jedi....but your basic enemies should be killed instantly the second your lightsaber blade hits them, no matter what stance you're using. Several times I...  [Read More]

Well, I imagine that you could get by with button-mashing. If you take the time to learn all the moves, you'd be an unstoppable force (or Force) of nature. :D BTW, I don't think I've posted here, in, like, a year. Heck, back then we were still wa...  [Read More]
